Streamer Thoughts

Good Morning all! Not too much time for chatter, however I felt the need to release my thoughts here. For those of you who follow me via Twitch, my utmost gratitude and respect! Thankyou! To those who WANT to follow, please message and let me know. I will surely share the link with you. 

Onto business.....I’ve been thinking a couple of things. Should I be posting some videos on Twitter and here to create more followers? Also, what would you all think about my streaming sims? It would be amazing if I did. I would also need to get certain permissions from certain people in order to do it (cause of course, like most simmers, I do have families that have been inspired by real life awesome people). 

If I did stream sims, I’d have to know a thing or two about broadcasting via computer. That is totally scary to me cause honestly, I heard that the programs are difficult to manage. However, I also heard that once you’ve got the controls where you want them, then its easy. I just don’t know folks. Also, would I get more followers this way? It seems sims is super popular on Twitch too and it might bring more people in.

Too Many Sims

Mornin’ folks! I have been doing some real thinking about my sims as of late. I have a great big family......my legacy family......which I love, Jacob Santana who has a girl now, a big family full of pets (this one I kind of want to give away some to my other families so its not so big, but I don’t really know how to do that), I’ve got the Bear and Bard Show household, and the Winchesters. 

It just seems like I get to a point where it gets to be too much and then I have to scale down a lot. Anyone else feel like that?  

I’ve been thinking that maybe, what I need to do, is to delete the families that I know I don’t need anymore. That could include killing someone off or deleting them entirely from game. Its funny though cause I don’t think I could part with any of them. I have yet to really play with Bear and Bard, just starting out with Winchesters, worked too hard to keep the legacy going, Jacob is hilarious, and Maggie and her crazy animal house is fun to watch........

So maybe my question should be......which families do you enjoy hearing about the most? While I love writing about all my sims families, maybe I just need to play some for the hell of it without sharing here and share the others? Speak up and let me know what you think!

An Author’s Note

Good Morning all! I am sorry for the long drought as far as updates are concerned. I just got swept up in a lot of stuff........work and other things mostly. There will be more updates soon as I have some pictures to show. However, in the meantime, I thought that I would let you all in on what I have been doing. 

As of late I have not even given my sims games a second look. I still love the game, don’t get me wrong, its awesome. I just have been playing with my PS4 a lot too because I have found out how to stream on it. I can stream the games I play and I found out that I truly love to stream! I do it any chance I get because its a lot of fun! If you guys ever want to find me on Twitch, look for the same name: ChiefDancingBear and you will find me! 

Typically I tend to stream Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays sometime in the afternoons. I am thinking of trying to stream some in the evenings too on those days and on the days that I do work. Its difficult to get a real pattern going, but you’ll all know when I do stream. 

Now some of you might say why not stream sims? Well.......I COULD of course......but honestly, the commentary required might not be so good (if at all). I tend to stop/start my game to take the amazing shots I do which would probably drive people crazy. And let’s face it, I am not technically inclined and don’t know how to stream via pc. I heard its real easy and how you just have to download a program in order for that to work and mess with the settings etc.....but that puts me off. Now I would possibly consider it if I did have someone with me standing over my shoulder and helping me out, but I don’t have anyone that will do that. So for now it is strictly PS4 gaming. 

Thanks for continuing to follow my blog and read my stuff. I never can say this enough. The continued support by the followers who read my stuff is amazing. I know you all don’t message me or let me know if you are truly paying attention so I have no way of knowing, but still. You all are there following this blog and that means a lot. Simpernaturals: Dear Diary

On a roll! Just go with it! 

Dear Diary, 

Today I had just enough time to sit down while the twins were sleeping. It has been a great roller coaster so far. We have been through the terrible twos, the exhaustible threes, and now is the time when its getting to the good part. Their birthday is today actually. Can you believe that all that time has passed us by when we weren’t looking? Its crazy to think about them still as little girls and while Jace was so certain that we were going to have a boy, he was just as delighted with our girls. In fact, I think he secretly cares more for girls than boys, but if you ask him he’ll deny it. Here’s the proof:

The other day I captured the cutest things on film! I couldn’t believe that I didn’t miss these moments! After they’ve grown up, when they do fight and oh I know they will at some point cause they are sisters, I will pull these out of my pocket and show them. Too precious for words!

And you know what diary? It doesn’t stop there! They play together so nicely these days. If one is playing dolls the other wants to too. They are turning out to be inseparable! 

The joys of parenting are so real and I am so happy that I get to experience them. They are most definitely a handful, but its cute to be able to watch them learn and grow!

Before I end this, I just now heard a commotion going on at the table. I walked into these scenes:

And apparently my husband thought that I needed to be in a picture with my girls......I wasn’t even dressed for the day yet! Please give me the courage not to kill him.....ha ha ha!!

Simpernaturals: Marley’s Passion

Hey all! Just another update as I have more pictures to post! Hope you all are enjoying the adventuring going on! Let’s just jump in, shall we? 

When Michael got back to the Villa there was Marley and Melanie sitting at the table, one with a cup of coffee and the other with some juice. They were talking about their day and just as the words “When your father is up....” were said, was the exact time that Michael walked through the door. 

“And where have you been?” Marley asked 

“Out in the wilds.......”

“You promised me that you were only going to go fishing and come back” she said a little put out.

“That I did, but I thought that if I had a little knowledge of where to go and all that we’d have a chance of not getting lost. Plus, I only went swimming”

“They don’t allow you to swim in the lakes here........where is there a swimming place?”

“I can show you!”

“Yeah okay........” she sighed. That was Marley’s cue to leave. Michael looked at Melanie and shrugged. 

“What’s eating her?”

“You should have waited honey........I know its exciting, but it’s exciting to her too” 

“Yeah, I’ll go make things right, you’ll see”

“You better” Melanie took a sip of coffee as Michael went upstairs. When he got there though, there was no Marley.

“I can’t believe it!”

“What happened now?”

“She left!” Michael called down. 

“Not to worry.......I’ll go and talk with the vendors, maybe they saw her” Melanie told him. She sounded so cool and calm, but in her heart she was worried. She got up from the table and went out the door to the market place a couple of yards away from their villa. As soon as she spotted one, she asked them if they saw her. 

“Yeah, she got a bunch of supplies and went off into the jungle” a vendor with a thick accent said. Melanie deflated, shook her head, and thanked the gentleman. As she turned around, she bumped into Michael as he was standing right behind her.

“They said--”

“I know” Michael said, looking worried. 

“If you are worried....” the vendor spoke up, “don’t be, there are guides everywhere. Chances are she would have run into a hut or two along the way meant for travelers wanting to explore. The jungle itself is dangerous, but we do all we can to keep people safe” 

At this Melanie and Micheal visibly relaxed knowing that Marley had a good head on her shoulders. All they could do was to go back to the villa and wait. 

Meanwhile, Marley was having a blast! She walked along this path and quickly came upon a site where they must have started digging for artifacts. She got down on her knees and surveyed the area before she started looking herself.

A couple minutes later, she did find some unidentified artifacts that she put in a backpack that she had bought from a vendor. She was so delighted she started dancing and singing to herself. 

As she was curious to know what else was ahead and all that she would discover, she moved on to find a tomb! There was an entrance to it that was covered in branches. She swore up and down that she should have gotten a machete for her travels, but hands worked just fine. She would just have to be careful though. Unfortunately, when it was cleared, a swarm of bees started attacking! 

That didn’t deter her though, she just found another way in and started looking around the place. She couldn’t believe it, the place was booby-trapped all over the place. Whoever had built this really didn’t want intruders coming in and stealing their stuff. Marley was smart enough to look around and gain some kind of knowledge about the place before she started to try deactivating the traps. It took a lot of doing, but she learned a lot and she found a skeleton that really wanted to talk to her. She was glad that the skeleton wasn’t as frightening as it looked walking around all on its own because it imparted some wisdom too. With all this help she was able to find more artifacts, avoid the dangers even if she did make some mistakes along the way, and even had a blessing of eternal sunshine put upon her! 

Half the day had come and gone, but she was having way too much fun! She felt as though she was just about to come to the heart of the place where they buried someone very important. She had to get through one last booby-trap and she was there. It took her a few tries, but in the end it was worth it! As she came up to the stone casket, it took her breath away. She stood in awe for a minute or two and then pushed the top off a bit. There, she found her treasure! 

It was a quick celebration, but one she felt personal pride over. She couldn’t wait to get home and clean these off to see if they were real true artifacts she found. However, there was one more spot that she knew she hadn’t been to. It was the very top of the tomb. She thought to herself that that would be the last place to stop because there were stairs leading out of it down to the jungle floor and it was free of any sort of traps. 

Getting up, she tracked along the halls and up steps. It was getting hot and humid, but she could feel that evening was going to be coming along soon. She had to hurry and pushed herself get up to the top. Once there, she fell upon another excavation site and started digging there too.

She couldn’t believe how much stuff she had found in there and thought that, after the digging was through, she deserved to post it on social media that she had discovered all of these things on her own. Then, getting up, she took one last look around the place. She spent so long here that she was kind of sad to have to go but she knew her parents were probably going out of their minds with worry. She really didn’t mean to leave without telling them anything, but she was upset with her Dad. If he was going to take off adventuring without her, she was going to do the same thing to him to show him how it felt. 

Sighing, she got up and went down the steps. By sunset, she had reached her first digging site again and saw a little picnic area. She thought about how hungry she was, so she stopped and cooked something. She was anxious to get home and share everything, but food had to come first.

At least 45 minutes or so went by and she disposed of what she didn’t eat. She left the site just as she had discovered it. Now, it was time to face the music. Just a couple of minutes later and she was through the front door. 

“Young lady.....” Michael said in a firm voice. 

“Yeah, I know Dad.....”

“You could have been in SO much danger honey........what were you thinking?!” he started getting visibly upset and angry. It was a good thing that her Mom was there. She landed a hand on his shoulder.

“Most important thing is, is that you are back with us” 

Michael deflated, “Don’t ever scare us again.......”

“I’m sorry” Marley hung her head a little. She felt as though the punishment was coming. 

“Your father and I had a lot of time to think of a proper punishment.......all day in fact........” 

“But,” Michael stepped in, his voice hard, “in the end, you are safe and we are relieved. Consider yourself lucky”

Marley’s head rose up a little surprised that she wasn’t getting punished. She went into the kitchen, breathed, and drank some more water. Soon, her Mom found her again. 

“Did you find some neat stuff at least?” 

Upon hearing the beginnings of this conversation, Michael hurried in. This was something he really did want to hear about. 

“Actually, a lot of really cool unidentified artifacts. That table over there will help me authenticate it all!” 

“Cool!” they both chimed in. That was when Marley went in on all that she saw and did that day. 

Later, after her talk with her parents she decided to try to authenticate her artifacts. Her Dad, on the other hand, had other plans.

He kept going on and on about how he was glad that she had finally found her passion. She told him though, that she is merely interested and that archaeology was certainly a profession to consider.

Winchesters: Blissfully Happy!

Hey there all! Just got ready for the workout and decided that before I get out the door that I ought to post another update. I’ve been taking an obscene amount of shots and I feel as though if I want to play, then I need to update a little more. So, here we go......on with the show! 

The very next day, Sam couldn’t wait to see Evie! He decided, pjs or not, that he’d go over and see her right away. Dean shook his head and yelled out at him as he left, “At least put your day clothes on ya goof!” Of course Sam didn’t hear him as he was already halfway down the street. 

When Sam got to Evie’s place her family told him that she would be right down. He knew exactly what he wanted to say to her. He was just way too excited to get to see her and to make matters worse, he was nervous too. Ever since he could imagine what it would be like, he wanted to become a Dad. He kept wishing for it to happen to him some day and then, when his brother came back into his life that one faithful night, it looked as though he was well on his way. He and his girl at the time were getting pretty serious and then Dean happened. His life took an unexpected turn and now, he was just like his brother......a hunter. But now, maybe it looked like he could have that back. 

Evie came downstairs while Sam was deep in thought. “Sam? Honey?” she asked unsure.

“Oh.....wow, you look amazing” Sam said pulling himself out of his own thoughts.

“Why thank you” 

Sam pulled her in close and kissed her passionately not caring that her family was around her at the time.

As soon as she was able to speak again, she asked, “Well, tell me how you really feel” she giggled. Then, taking a pause for a minute she added, “You do realize you are in your pjs still right?” 

“Evie, I don’t care about the pjs.........I wanted to see you........wanted you in my arms. When I woke up today I felt like I had to see you right away to know our engagement wasn’t just a dream........” he trailed off and then his features sank a bit. She looked at him for a moment and then lifted his head back up. 

“Im right here Sam.......it did happen........and I love you”. That was all she had to say. In her mind she questioned it, but pushed the question aside. Now was not the time. 

“Its just........I had this dream once before and it vanished. It vanished because my brother needed help and I had to leave town. I’ve been traveling with my brother ever since and this is the first time..........” Evie put her fingers to his lips, kissed him again, and held him. 

“Shh, its okay honey, I understand” she whispered. This bowled him over even more. 

“I want to have a baby with you” he whispered back. She parted a little from him.

“You.....you.....do?” she half-smiled. It was quick, she knew that much. They weren’t even married yet and she thought after maybe a couple of months it would happen, so she was a little surprised to say the least.

“Yeah! How about it Evie? Could you just imagine us being parents?” 

The first thought that popped into Evie’s mind made her laugh. When Sam wanted to know she tried to wave it off, but he wouldn’t drop it. “That would make your brother ‘Uncle Dean’” she smiled, the laugh still playing along her lips.

“It is funny to think about, but my brother is the best even when he doesn’t show good judgment. Like that time when he invited both of his girlfriends over and tried to woo them both without the other knowing?” he chuckled. 

“Yeah, too true”

“So, what do you think?” 

“I want to have kids with you Sam, I really do!” 

They celebrated for a few minutes before Sam decided to get back home again and get some clothes on. He told Evie to come by his place to celebrate soon. 

After Sam got home, Dean looked him up and down, “You’re a fool”

“Jerk”

“Bitch”

“And you call me a fool cause I walked out of here in this?” he gestured to his state of dress. 

“Yeah”

“You forget that I have seen you do the exact same thing”

“Once.....I did it once........and for good reason too” 

“Oh right, you said that a.......what was it, a Brownie, that took them?”

“A Boggart! It was a Boggart! The family we were helping at the time had one loose in the house” 

Sam shook his head and laughed as Dean settled back in and played a game on the computer. The conversation that they just had had pushed out what he wanted to tell his brother. The minute he decided that he was going to go back and wash up for his company was when he remembered. 

“Evie is coming over to celebrate”

“Didn’t you two already celebrate the engagement?”

“Yeah, we are celebrating something else”

“Want to clue me in or should I just guess?”

At this, Sam came back out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel. He went over, patted Dean on the shoulder, and Dean sat down on the bed. “For the longest time, I’ve wanted a kid of my own. Heck, I wanted someone to love ever since I got over.......” he choked up.

Dean just looked down at his feet, sighed a heavy sigh, and was about to say something when Sam gathered himself enough to continue, “You know how hard that was for me Dean and since I met Evie, I have been happier”. Dean nodded in agreement but kept quiet. “So, not only are we engaged, but we want to have a baby” 

At this Dean looked up, eyes shining with tears, “I......I couldn’t be happier for you two....” he swiped the tears trying to roll down his cheeks. He got up and hugged his brother. 

“You know what this means.......”

“Yeah, I am going to be cool Uncle Dean” he smirked. 

Sam laughed, “More like crazy Uncle Dean”. Dean rolled his eyes and shook his head.
