As if considering her choices, Chiyori’s glance lingered on his hand for a moment before it would slide up to monitor his face. She wasn’t sure if there was anything for Choso to really see, but the sorceress supposed — as much as she was reluctant to ask for it herself — that he just wanted to help.

Appearing more bashful than unwilling Chiyori wordlessly removed her hand from her side, allowing him to inspect the injury. Trying to play it cool, her eyes shifted away from his face, hoping he wouldn’t become too alarmed. Some blood had spread through the white bandages around her waist.

Whelp. He can't very well just let her struggle her way back, can he? He stops for a moment, brows lifted some as if debating if he should intrude upon her personal space a second time if only for the sake of actually lending a hand.

So he does. Reaching a hand out, but not touching unless he's permitted to do so. "Can I see?" He asked, waiting for her to either allow or deny him this opportunity to assess her condition more thoroughly. If she's injured, and having this much difficulty, he really should do something.

(( ok, so i’ve come across posts from people questioning why gojo is so weird when he fights jogo. like, why is he so horny about the volcano man? great, awesome question. here’s my unsolicited take on it.

warning: possible jjk s2e9 spoilers! ))

consider this: fighting is the only moment where gojo is allowed to be 100% his unhinged self, but it's rare that anything or anyone is actually able to hold up against his powers without getting immediately obliterated.

it’s akin to giving a golden retriever a toy that ends up getting destroyed bc pupper played with it a bit too vigorously. when there's no toy left, it means playtime is over. for gojo that leaves him with an overall feeling of unsatisfaction. gojo is that sad pupper who doesn't get enough endorphins released bc no 'toy' can handle him.

so, the fact that jogo can take gojo being somewhat rough towards him is enough to trigger a release of dopamin in gojo, hence the impression of arousal. (i mean.. come on, look at this. the touching, the playfulness? it's just too sensual to mean anything else. also, just to be in the clear, i'm not shipping them, lol).

tbh, i'm just trying to point out that with the immense powers this man bears, it's only natural that he is in a constant state of feeling understimulated.

tying this in with gojo's awful personality, like.. him being annoying af is probably the maximum amount of ‘normalness’ this man can muster without going insane from absolute boredom.

in reality gojo might be holding back bc he knows normal people wouldn’t be able to handle him if he were to fully unleash himself upon them. it might not seem like it, but he’s actually treating every non-enemy with as much care as he possibly can.

conclusion here is that gojo's entire personality revolves around the fact that he's finding himself constantly understimulated. in general, he's just so unimpressed that for him to even get genuinely stirred up, there needs to to be some perversion involved in the act. it just makes sense for me, okay?

so, can you blame gojo for feeling actually excited while fighting mr. volcano head? not really. but is he a freak? definitely. but honestly, shouldn't we just let this man truly enjoy himself for once. just look at how happy he is.

Jinsei (人生, ‘(Human) Life’) is the name of special-grade curse inside Chiyori that ends up taking over her body when she relinquishes control. At this point in time, Chiyori’s soul has been surpressed so intensely by all the curses residing inside her that she just… succumbs, obviously prompting the strongest curse to take the reins from here, which is Jinsei.

Jinsei, like any other curse is quite chaotic by nature. They enjoy challenges just as much as they enjoy winning. So, it probably wouldn’t come as a surprise if I told you they aren’t ashamed to pull dirty tricks from their sleeve just to win, or cause distractions that’d be considered unfair in combat or any other type of trial.

Being capable of speech and general intelligent exchange of information, Jinsei is unapologetic and blunt in their words. They still have access to Chiyori’s memories, and they won’t hesitate exposing the information they know about them by blurting her true thoughts about your character if they’ve interacted with Chiyori before.

“Damn it! Human bodies are so inconvenient! I didn’t know it required so much work maintaining one!” With the woman’s hands, Jinsei made a dramatic sweeping gesture down their cold, naked body. “First, I have to eat, and then I have to excrete the waste from the other end?! This- this is unacceptable! Outrageous!” They rolled their eyes, hands now planted firmly on their hips. “Not to mention sleep?!”

The corners of her mouth remained uplifted in her usual gentle smile once Chiyori observed Opal-chan reanimate after her display of affection. Chiyori was aware that Opal-chan had a tendency to disconnect from the world, so seeing her zap back to reality like that wasn’t exactly novel, but watching her become flustered was cute regardless. “Oh, I- okay..” she returned, smiling still, though couldn't help but feel a little rejected once the other turned down her offer to help.

When the pinkette proceeded to tumble down — clumsy as usual — Chiyori instinctively took a step backward to not get tangled in her friend’s fall. Her brows arched in half surprise, half concern. She was about to extend her hand toward her friend, but Opal-chan seemed to be up on her feet again before Chiyori could actually offer her her assistance.

Luckily, though, Opal-chan didn’t seem to be badly hurt, and with a smile of relief, Chiyori mirrored the finger heart gesture. "You know, I'm always here to help you, Opal-chan," she returned before her hand fell back to its natural rest at her side.

Casting her eyes downward, Chiyori considered the question about her day for a moment. “It was… okay,” she shrugged, not sure if there was anything new to bring up. Her day had been as per usual — not really bad, but not amazing either. Studying to become a nurse wasn’t exactly a struggleless journey. Like most things in life, it had its own ups and downs.

Amber eyes landed back on the pinkette once Chiyori remembered why she’d come to visit her friend at the coffee bar today. “Ah, Opal-chan, I saw they offered a good deal on clothes at the mall this week." With both hands holding onto the strap of her bag, Chiyori tilted her head sideways. "Would you have time to go shopping with me one of the coming days?”

By the time Choso had declared that they'd finished clearing out curses for the day, the sorceress had already sunk down to her knee, an elbow propped on her opposite thigh. “Right…” Chiyori spoke, the word coming out in a pained exhale, a slight tremor to her voice.

Slowly, she forced herself to get back up on her feet, palm still pressed to her side. She wasn’t going to ask for help. She’d already inconvenienced Choso enough by having him save her the other day. Besides, she’d been the one insisting on accompanying him to help out. “Let- let's head back,” she nodded.

Hazel eyes trail after her when she moves in behind him. A small tug against the edges of his lips warning of subtle concern for her current condition. She didn't look fine to him. He wasn't one to force people to act against their decisions, however. Choso took his time to study her before deciding if it was worth mentioning or not.

"We're done here." Cursed spirits cleared out for the moment also meant they could get back, and she could get assessed by Shoko again. "You ready to head back?"

Gently closing the door behind her, Chiyori allowed herself to draw nearer to her friend. Treating the other like one would a delicate flower, fingers cradled the side of the pinkette��s face

“Opal-chan, y’kno… everything is going to be okay,” Chiyori assured, a soothing smile grazing her features once she bent forward, planting a kiss on top of the pinkette’s forehead. “Do you want me to help you wipe off the tables today?”
