"Oh..okay..Er, Arawn." He bows slightly again, he looks up, listening to the man explain the position of Orre and Asada. "Y-yeah..Not many people seem to know about Asada..I wonder why.." He smiles a little, but it seemed a little sad.

“It is ok to refer to me by Arawn. I am not really used to being called by my last name.” Arawn shrugs while feeling that being called by his last name was a bit weird for him. “Orre is northwest of the Johto region, but Orre is largely a desert region. So it has little knowledge to the outside world. Similar to Asada though completely different for the reasoning’s of why Orre and Asada are rare knowledge to be known of outside of the very region itself.”

"O-oh...Thanks..." He frowns, looking at the ground as if he had been scolded. "D-do you know why she left...?" He never knew why Elia left. She just suddenly disappeared, leaving the gym to him.

Blaze shakes his head regretfully.

“Sorry, I haven’t heard from her since she announced that you were taking over. She just…Fell off the radar. If I hear anything I can let you know though.” Blaze offers.

Aaron jumps slightly in surprise as the laptop is snapped shut. He then looked at the other man to answer the question. "I'm from the Asada Region.." He says quietly, a little uneasy that Brian mentioned his age.

*There was a pause and Brian suddenly closed his laptop. Not that he was upset but the sudden movement was normal for him and considered rude to most people* I see. You appear quite young to be Gym Leader. Which region are you from?

He nods, appreciating the encouragement. He then frowns when he hears Elia's name. "...U-uhm...D-do you know where E-Elia went..?" He feels more anxious now, he hasn't heard about Elia in a long time. He makes no effort to conceal his anxiety.

Blaze chuckles before nodding.

“I suppose you’re right. Just keep the faith, and keep standing strong and eventually the strongest opponents to your leadership will concede. Take heart, Elia chose you as the gym leader. That means that she must have seen some potential in you at the very least.”

He smiles as Blaze clarifies what he must do to gain respect. "Persevere? Isn't that what Steel-types do best?" He giggles childishly

“That’s all you have to do, persevere and you’ll succeed.” Blaze says firmly.

He looked at the website contently, quite interested in the academy. He snaps out of his momentary concentration to answer the question. "O-Oh, uhm...A month? I haven't really been a Gym leader for very long.."

*Brian said nothing for a moment and opened his laptop. He began to type something and was led to a website. The man was a little disappointed that this boy had not heard of the faculty* Battle Academy is on an island near Unova and a faculty where you may challenge yourself or train. *He turned the handheld computer around so Aaron could see the Battle Academy website* I see…steel types, the most defensive of all. How long have you had the position?

"I-I don't know how to prove it though...Maybe if I just stay as gym leader for awhile...?" He scratches the back of his head, uncertain about his comment.

“Yes news can spread pretty quick.” He sighs before speaking again.

“Just prove yourself competent and that’ll silence them fast enough.” Blaze assures the teen as well as he can.

"Oh.." This small sound escapes his mouth as he's taken by surprise by the warm greeting, but he tries not to show his surprised expression. He hesitantly takes Kerrin's hand, shaking it with an unexpectedly firm grip.

Kerrin shifts her weight to one side and holds out a hand towards the timid boy in front of her. “Kerrin, from Echo Ridge. Nice to finally meet you, Aaron.”

"Battle Academy...?" He repeats quietly, not really knowing what it was. "Oh, uhm, I specialize in Steel types.."

Hmph *he made a smug expression with a faint smile that looked invisible* I question everyone’s rank. It seems I was correct. I am Brian, Academy Leader of the Battle Academy. What type do you specialize in?

His smile fades and he looks at the ground, away from Blaze, shuffling his feet a little. "W-well..It's alright I suppose...N-news spreads fast...T-the people in my town aren't too pleased.." He seemed pretty uncomfortable now.

Blaze can’t help but chuckle lightly at that response.

“I suppose so. So how has the position treated you so far? Anything I should be aware of?” He asks keeping a relaxed posture and demeanor.

He’s trying to ensure that Aaron doesn’t feel pressured or threatened.

"Of course~ It wouldn't be very good if it was only an acquaintance." He smiles a little more.

“Espeon is quite a good friend of mine.” Blaze comments, glad that Aaron has relaxed.

"O-oh.. H-hi, my name's Aaron Hagane.." He bows in greeting. "It's nice to meet you Kerrin.." He says a little quietly, and he seems somewhat timid, because he's expecting some sort of snide comment.

"An elite trainer..? If you mean, a gym leader, then you're correct..but, how did you know?" He seemed curious as to how the man got his information, maybe the word spreads quickly, since he's an extremely young gym leader.

*Upon hearing the boy speak, Brian closed his laptop and bowed briefly. Somehow he felt this person was an elite trainer. He was 63% sure* greetings, I am Brian. Are you an elite trainer?

"An Espeon? I have an Espeon~" He smiles and giggles a little. It's always nice to know that there were people who had Espeons.
