Teresa sighed, “I was an orphan in an orphanage that was breaking down. I never did anything wrong, but still, the people that worked there hurt me. So much, that I ran away and tried to find a family of my own. I found this mansion. But, someone-I don’t know who- certainly nobody that lives here- chased after me, and I fell off the ballroom balcony...:”

She tried not to shudder, even though she was dead.

“I-Im sorry, I am so sorry…” she almost cried, backing a bit away herself, “Please believe me that I won’t hurt anyone like people hurt me…”

Before building the Haunted Mansion at Disneyland, Imagineers created miniature, working models of every scene in the attraction, so they could see exactly how they would run/look. Here are models of the original attic concept that included the Hatbox Ghost, Madame Leota’s Seance Room, and the Graveyard Band (the Phantom Five). The photos of the maquettes, including the original concepts for the 3 Hitchhikers, were taken in 2003 when they were on display at the Disney Gallery at Disneyland.

Villainy wears many masks, none of which so dangerous as virtue

But why am I the only one who can see that to solve crimes, we must use our brains, assisted by reason, using up-to-date scientific techniques? 

There is a town, two days journey to the north in the Hudson Highlands. It is a place called Sleepy Hollow. Have you heard of it? 

Three persons have been murdered there, all within a fortnight. Each one found with the head lopped off. 

It was a headless horseman. 

You must not excite yourself.

No, you must believe me. It was a horseman, a dead one. Headless. 

You don’t know because you were not there. It’s all true.

I… saw him.

This is probably going to sound strange but after watching some Steven Universe of late I thought up a what if of a fusion between the Ghost Host and The Phantom would look like or act like.

Maybe something along these lines? Someone more clever than me can come up with a name.

(Oh geez, what would the fusion dance even look like?)
