so i honestly downplay the abuse that aria went through during her nine-year stint with her half-sister and brother-in-law. this is because i think it's a bit too much to write out.

but i will say this.

aria should've been dead long before she escaped the abusive household. she honestly should not have lived like she did with how bad it was. but she did.

so, as i've posted before, a tragedy happened in the family for me. the thing is, because of said tragedy, we're now in dire financial straits. with how much i've heard and knowing how we relied on the aid my brother got + the paychecks from the caregiving (because he refused to allow strangers to care for him, so only family + my mom's boyfriend could be his carer), we're sunk.

plus the cremation and costs for essentials needed for the day to day.

i don't have anything to offer in return. hell, i don't think i'll be able to do much in regards to offering things in return due to mental distress over all that's happened.

if you want to help at least a little, i have a ko-fi set up here. if you want something in return, i can offer maybe art, a promo graphic or something similar but when i can actually do it.

i don't know how much everything'll cost, hence why there's no gofundme or ko-fi goal. i just want everything to level out until i leave for my boyfriend's in august.

if i'm honest, aria takes her training seriously.

she's always up at a scheduled hour to do a bit of a morning workout, following up with a jog to the nearby store for something to make for breakfast (mainly for lancer, as aria's disorder makes it hard for her to eat).

whenever she's training with lancer, she focuses hard and listens intently. she wants him to be proud of her as his apprentice/student, and she knows she can't slack off.

it's why, even if it's not a day he can train her himself, she trains solo and goes over what she's been taught so far.

she's only had one incident with twisting her ankle during training, setting her back until it was healed. the entire time? she was upset about it because she couldn't train and felt really bad.

even when he's not there. she'll always keep training and practicing what he taught her. because she wants to catch up to him someday, and one day be his equal.

"....I've been having thoughts of kissing Lancer lately." At least she was outside, which meant she had some time to herself before she picked up her training once more. "I mean, who wouldn't? He's tall, he's really handsome and his personality makes him really approachable and friendly."

She thought on it for a few moments. A finger tapped at her lips a few times before she sighed and shook her head. "No. I can't let errant thoughts change things. I should be happy with what I have. After all....

"I don't really deserve what I have, do I?"

aria definitely needed glasses for a majority of her life. it isn't until after she wakes up from her coma that she realizes she no longer needs them-- after grieving, of course.

in aria's world, the fate/series was created by the mage's association as to keep the secret of actual grail wars being done a secret. a lot of what happens in them is made up and crafted in a way that no one would suspect that you could actually summon servants.

it grew bigger than the association realized it would, so fate/grand order was made to cater to the demands of having a storyline of fate outside of the usual grail wars. everything in it was based purely in a fictional "what if" world.

aria basically grew up on the series itself and is a big fan of the abridged series in particular, to the point she quotes it sometimes without realizing it.

i.e: in orleans she screamed "100% maximum no chill!" when using gae bolg on a bunch of wyverns and introduced herself like so:

"me? my name's mario. first name mario, last name mario. mario mario."

but yeah the tl;dr is that the mage's association created the whole fate franchise and aria will fucking reference it at any point she wants.

when aria had her first dream-memory of lancer's, it was like a nightmare. seeing how he died in his last battle scared her completely. however, at this time she was shoving everything down and making sure she wouldn't burden anyone... so she woke up in a cold sweat and proceeded to pace around where she lived until she felt tired again.

she never went to lancer and never told him she saw.

she never told anyone she dreamed of his death, tied up to a standing stone so he'd die on his feet. she had a breakdown in the morning about it, but hid it as best as she could as to not burden those she cared about.

after all, she's already almost lost one of them, she's not going to burden them with her problems any more-
