these playlists are based off of songs that remind me of the characters and songs that i believe they would listen to

i will edit this post whenever i update the playlists but i will probably forget eventually

kris

kris’ playlist was definitely the easiest for me to make. i added a lot of stereotypical “emo” bands (my chemical romance, twenty one pilots, radiohead) as well as some breakcore/experimental electronic (?) such as crystal castles and pastel ghost. kris’ playlist is the longest time-wise at the moment but susie’s playlist has more songs. i just have so many ideas for them giggles and kicks my feet

susie

for susie’s playlist, i added a lot of grunge and punk. green day, nirvana, smashing pumpkins, bikini kill, and limp bizkit all make an appearance. but i also added some hip-hop, like joey valence & brae and mf doom. i added some tyler, the creator songs but only from chromakopia because i felt like the songs from that album fit really well. i also added a few songs alluding to susie’s bad home life. susie’s playlist has the most songs out of any of them.

ralsei

i really struggled with ralsei’s playlist and he sadly has the least amount of songs. i wasn’t sure what type of music he would listen to, but the one artist i knew for sure was jack stauber. that helped me decide on the rest of the playlist. i added a lot of “indie” music such as alex g and tv girl. i made sure to include a lot of sad songs because you know for a fact that when ralsei is sad he doesn’t talk about it, he just listens to sad music in his room. i also added a lot of songs from twenty one pilots’ first album because they seemed fitting.

noelle

noelle was another difficult one for me, although not as difficult as ralsei. i knew i wanted to include wlw artists, so i added girl in red and clairo. i also knew for a FACT noelle is a mitski fan so some mitski songs went in as well. i went for that kind of soft bedroom pop vibe, adding a lot of cavetown songs because they seemed fitting. i also added some mac demarco songs for the same reason. the rest of the songs are just random songs i know that remind me of noelle.

edit: added a few chappell roan songs, making noelle’s playlist no longer the shortest

berdly

berdly’s playlist was the second easiest next to kris, but ironically is the shortest. i knew exactly what i wanted. the first artists i added were lemon demon and weezer. i mean c’mon. it’s berdly. i also added bo burnham because berdly would definitely be a fan, and songs from the scott pilgrim vs. the world movie which i feel like berdly would like. like susie, i added some joey valence & brae songs, but i added their less “punk” songs. i feel like berdly would swoon if he found out he liked the same artist as susie and definitely would be a fan of jvb’s style. i also added mccafferty for a pinch of sad. last but CERTAINLY not least, i added some scott the woz songs. scott the woz is my favorite youtuber and i just KNOW berdly is watching his shit and singing his songs. it’s so fitting. i also added some other random songs that remind me of him.
