From a thriving career in the US as an Afro-French model and with a constantly growing social media presence, Lucien had to leave it all behind after a devastating "car crash". In reality, the rumors of his interest in occult and spirituality, and a supposedly affinity for what some might even call a sixth sense caught the notice of his to-be Sire and he was secretly embraced; a vampire's midnight's kiss to welcome him into the open arms of the Anarch Malkavians. It was a gift, for him to truly utilize the powers he supposedly had inside all along.

Although he tries his best to radiate a confident aloofness he has an odd manner that tends to seep out now and again, the slow drawl of his words tend to carry vague symbolism and metaphors.

The constant flow of impressions on his senses the Malkavian blood assault him with is something he utilizes to quell a growing curiosity about people and concepts alike. The secrets one hold closest to their chest are what tells us most about them, and what makes people tick is one of the most interesting things of all, wouldn't you say...?

It really makes you sit and think that it took the bloodiest war on "American" soil to accomplish the bare minimum belief of "Black people shouldn't be slaves", and even then it was an incidental outcome. We would literally still be slaves if Lincoln and his advisors didn't think it was necessary to break the Confederacy. It was THAT close. That's how badly white supremacy (and the capitalism it cycles with) wanted to maintain itself here.

There has not been a single forward movement in our Emancipation or Civil Rights that didn't face extreme violence and require organization and the threat of violence to fight against.

So when people seem to think that "we can do this nonviolently", I chafe because it makes me wonder if we're even looking at the same history. Kwame Ture said it best; in order for nonviolence to work your enemy has to have a conscience. We can be nonviolent all we want but we are not gonna get that back 😬 sorry.
