And, as someone that has interacted with this version of the game a lot as a casual Japanese player and a fandub director, I was so confused. Until I ran it through Google Translate...

I'm crying because that is NOT how the text reads in Japanese like-

It's more "Horace was a child brought to Aldrich and one of only two to survive".

I don't even get the thought process behind people that don't speak Japanese doing this??? The translators are not trying to hide stuff or trick you. And the irony of it happening to Horace, who is voiced by Ryan Morris, the localization lead, is just *chef's kiss*.
