Person, Place and Time Project:
This mood board reflects my intention to design a collection with narrative. I chose a place, person and time period and linked each theme into a collective final piece. This mood board displays my 'time' theme, 19th Century Aristocracy.

These are the raw unedited images from my photo shoot for the Person, Place and Time project. I orchestrated this photoshoot with my themes in mind, creating a relating makeup and hairstyle, styling a garment with accessories and I constructed the corset sustainably by using lace scraps. I focused on my time period with the soft and elegant framing and positioning.

I experimented further for the photoshoot with different poses, lighting and props.

I experimented with editing the photos with a blue tone to have a cool toned vintage aspect.

To continue my digital development/experimentation I used my edits to compose magazine covers. to create these covers I experimented with colour, font, size and placement.

Chaos In the Overcrowded: Construct project
This mood board reflects my theme of chaos in my construct project. With this project I aimed to focus on crochet and knitwear, in hopes to construct a final garment.

A second mood board for this project to further explore ideas.

Photoshoot with final garment using techniques such as; latch-hooking, single crochet, double crochet and pom pom making.

For this photoshoot I aimed to display chaos, exploring less standardised positioning and framing.

Warped and Distorted view Project:
This mood board is for my Year 2 A-Level project. It displays my initial ideas, creating the blueprint for the next stage of the project using artist research, secondary images and colour palettes. I drew inspiration from the way buildings look distorted in water and reflective surfaces.

I composed my work from this project in pages each displaying artist research, experimentation, primary images and digital editing. To develop my project I created ink colour palettes, and experimented with inks and water to achieve the warped/distorted visual.

Starting to sample taking inspiration from El Anatsui and further research into what final outcomes for this project could look like.

Further research and experimentation.

A wide variety of sampling including patchwork stitching, stapling samples relating to El Anatsui, and fashion illustrations exploring the potential outcomes for this project.

Drawing inspiration from my sampling and research I created a garment using a plethora of techniques. This garment was presented in the Bazaar Exhibit where I won an award for 'Refined and Resilient'.

Interior Project:
Unit 2 A-level mood board. It shows the initial ideas for this project and uses secondary images, digital editing and colour palettes. In this project I was inspired by the renaissance era and the architectural structures, with the aim to bring gold shades and intricate adornments into fashion

A second mood board further exploring my theme.

A colour palette for my interior project.

Using primary and secondary photography to print on acetate, create spirographs and jelly print, I created a variation of samples which were further developed.

I used my original samples and extended them by testing out colour variations and sizing. I started sampling with AquaSpand, transfer printing, embroidering and screen printing.

This is the final garment for this project, in which I included a variation of my sample experiments. In this piece I layered foil printing, AquaSpand printing and transfer print. I used the spirographs and primary imagery from my initial research/ development as the image I was printing. I used satin to mimic the elegance seen in my research in interior, and fashion.

Media Studies coursework
Using InDesign, I composed a nine page music magazine for my Media Studies coursework. I created the front cover and a feature article for a music magazine targeting indie music fans.

Zine Project:
I created a mixed media zine using a collection of materials. This project is inspired by the comic art style which relates to Spiderman. It is intended to display characters and reveal information to an audience that has never been exposed to the art style or Spiderman before. I used bold text and primary colours to keep with the comic book style and imagery.

In The Frame Project:
A group project using the Chris Ofilis' painting 'The Holy Virgin Mary' as a source of inspiration. We responded with a painting on canvas material which was later transformed into a fashion garment. We additional created fashion illustrations inspired by Elyse Blackshaw and the abstract style that she uses to create her illustrations.

Responding to our research we created the fashion garment outcome and conducted a photoshoot using the connotations of the original source of inspiration.

Final Product:
Using InDesign, I composed a front cover and a feature article for a fashion magazine/editorial.
