Live like the Gods of Cyprus: A Travel Brochure
Task Create a duotone travel brochure for a given country. Furthermore, the content in the brochure would be based on our own research of the travel activities one can partake in said country. The aim was to create something beyond the mainstream brochure. My country was Cyprus.
Rationale As I learnt that Cyprus was said to be the birthplace of Aphrodite, I decided to base the itinerary on the Greek Gods to entice travellers that are fans of Greek mythology.
The design incorporates graphics and typography that are inspired by the Greek / Roman writings. The use of cursive fonts create a sense of divinity. As each activity is paired with a Greek God, they all have their own unique personalities to the page. Finally, the layout design was more experimental to cater to the adventurous and thrill seeking target tribe.

Packaging Design: Colgate Toothpaste
Team Chloe Kor, Timothy Gan, Tripta Kaur Role Team Leader/Art Director, Designer
Task Design packaging to enhance its use during one’s morning routine.
Rationale My team decided to work on toothpastes, specifically the brand Colgate. This is because we identified the common pain points of the toothpaste getting stuck in the bottle, as well as the wasteful packaging.
Hence, we created a packaging design that would allow one to easily squeeze out the toothpaste. In turn, it is sustainable as the packaging is put to good use. One simply needs to pull on the red tab to effectively squeeze out the paste.
We retained the colours of the PRO series to keep the branding consistent. The graphics were done in a clean and optimistic style, fitting for the product. Similarly, the typography is a geometric san serif to make the design more cohesive. Finally, each flavour has their own mascot with their designated tagline to brighten one’s mornings.

Chef In A Box: Packaging Design
Team Chloe Kor, Timothy Gan, Tripta Kaur Role Designer and Art Director
Task Design CHEF-IN-A-BOX’s packaging as a set of 3 with the strategic placement of the vending machines in mind. (create your design based on a specific tribe)
Rationale We focused on the plant-based menu as more people are interested and buying plant-based products since Covid19. (https://www.healthline.com/health-news/more- people-eating-plant-based-protein)
Our design used an appetising colour palette, together with bold, san serif typography for a more personable and optimistic touch. I also created friendly illustrations as it was fitting for the sustainable and healthy menu.

DTUX Summit 2021
Team Chloe Kor, Paul Seet Role Junior Art Director
We designed a set of key arts for the event, DTUX 2021, “Being Human in a Hybrid World”. The design stems from the idea of "merging”, where the physical and digital worlds collide to become one harmonious environment.
This particular design was heavily inspired by the looks of a lava lamp, where the liquid merges in a calming manner. The use of entirely organic shapes feels more human due to their natural and irregular look. The colour combination of pink, purple and orange also creates a sense of harmony.
This goes for the logo as well. Focusing on circles merging like two worlds becoming one, I created my own number design that is consistent with the supporting graphics.
My role involved ideating the art direction, designing the adaptations, and briefing the animation team on how to execute the trailer.
