After Proposal Defense

After the proposal defense we revised the chapters and brainstorm for the new design of the system. We ask the director for the changes they want to make and clarify information for developing the system. We used our free time and the whole month to revise the chapters.

Proposal Defense

August 2,2018

The BU-RCSMED became our massive suporter. They provided what we need for the system and became our mentors. They encourage us to continue and never give up to our dreams. To the first week of august where initial defense started the center suported us. Before we presented to the panel; we first presented our proposal to our client. We are so happy as a group that they love our proposal.

The proposal defense is done. Yehey! The panelist love our proposal and they suggested more to our system and develop a new title which is the Training Resource Management System for BU-RCSMED.

Research Writeshop in Science and Mathematics Education

Before the end of July BU- RCSMED created an Research Writeshop for Science and Mathematics Teachers in Bicol University. The center provides the ideas, process, addtional topics for the research of the teachers. RCSMED helps the teachers to produce a great research with the help of Bicol University.

This event is memorable because we get to be closer to the staffs of BU-RCSMED and other teachers helping the center. The director assigned us to facilatate the participants and other materials needed for the evwnt like the tarpaulin, booklets and nameplates. I was assigned to design the tarpaulin and booklets that will be used for the event. With the guidance of our director and staffs of the center the event was a success.

Lecture Workshop in Teaching Chemistry

Good news that BU RCSMED is having 2 consecutive events this month and I was given the task to take charge of the design in tarpaulin and booklets. Our group was also assign to facilitate the upcoming events. This first week of july was exciting because for the first time we will be part of the events.

Lecture Workshop in Teaching Chemistry was fun we are assigned to facilitate the participants and also be part of the lecture. We learned so many things about chemistry even though we are an IT students we got to bond with the chemustry department. Their experiments about the daily intake of food, the reaction of the softdrink in our body.

This workshop is our first event as a OJT in BU-RCSMED, i was assigned to design the tarpaulin, the booklet and the ID's for the event. Also as a group we are assigned to facilitate the participants in an assigned station for the chenical activity. I was assigned in the soaking station where in the whole eggs is soaked in softdrinks and the observer must know what is the difference or what will happen to the egg soaked with sofdrink. The participants are going to the different station. In this activity the participants will learn the reaction of food we intake in our body and how softdrinks react to our body. We are so happy to be part of this event.

Second Week in BU-RCSMED On the Job Training.

First week is hard but in the second week we get to adjust and and familiarize the routine and our temporary environment. On the second week, we started with asking questions about the processing of the RCSMED in creating the trainings and their daily routines.

FIRST WEEK IN BU-RCSMED ON THE JOB TRAINING As college students, On-the-Job-Training (OJT) is a part of the curriculum; it serves as the training ground for the career we have chosen and prepares us for future employment. Learning is not limited within the four corners of the room, but through actual application of the things learned students become more effective, and authentic learning will be achieved. On the job training really has a built in advantage, it tests the skills and capabilities of the trainees and improves the areas that needs improvement, thereby, the end result will be professional growth. In BU-RCSMED trainees are trained to act, to work, and speak what’s on their mind. After the first week i think this is the most exciting and nervous part when you first to meet the director and the staffs if the center. Introduced to each other, assigning different tasks and other work related to our career. But as a trainees we are not given clerical work that is unrelated to our career more likely the given tasks would challenge our minds and decision making abilities. We accomplished the ff: Chapter 1 and 2 and to be checked by our Program Adviser Mr. Christian Sy and Content Adviser Mr. Rodel Naz.
