Everything you need to know about the Jungkook False Advertising situation.

1. On September 1,2021. Jungkook wore his brother’s clothing line 'Six6uys' that launched a brand called Graffiti On Mind that same day in September on a livestream. The outfit sold out within seconds.

2. On September 10, he also wore this and posted it to twitter and it also sold out within minutes.

3. On September 11, Jungkook was accused of backdoor advertising.

4. The accusations got so intense on September 14/15. jungkook resigned from his position.

5. On October 1, 2021. A netizen filed a report against Jungkook, asking the FTC(Fair Trade Commission) to look into it.

“BTS is a top boy group that represents South Korea and has an astronomical status. Even if Jungkook did not personally share a review of the product or ask fans to buy it after uploading the photo to social media, just by giving the brand exposure often, he could cause a raise in the profits beyond imagination. As such, this is an incident that could detriment a fair and free market and this is something that the Fair Trade Commission also strictly prohibits. I request that the Fair Trade Commission look into the matter carefully.”

Many have claimed this scandal was created by antis and others have claimed Jungkook knew exactly what he was doing. Either way, let’s all hope Jungkook isn’t too affected by the mass amount of hate.
