Does Norway really had a shortage of butter around Christmas
Thankfully, this year it seems to have been okay but I do believe it considering people rush to the store to buy stuff a few days before the holidays here.

I think folk would enjoy life a lot more if they turned off their brain while consuming media.
I'm personally here for a good time, not to analyze a cliche reincarnation webtoon that's been done a dozen times over.

Someone asked about the expenses in norway, so I'm answering like this so more people see it:
I'm not too sure about the tax system just yet, but the expenses can be pretty high, but be aware that your paycheck reflects your expenses. I'll use my family as an example of our expenses.
For example, my mom (who is only extra help) gets 15k kronus a month which would be about 1.5k euros/dollars. (This is just a basic estimate. You can essentially remove a zero from kronus and that's gonna be euros/dollars.) My stepdad earns 35/45k kronus. I get 6k from the government because I'm unemployed (You have to apply for help but it's an easy process)
My mom is a cleaner, and my stepdad is a taxi driver. Of course, people with higher education that can get a better job will earn more, but if you're in a big city, that's the basic pay.
Mind you, rent can be from 12k to more if you're in a big city, but also, you can apply for social help from NAV (which is the government help here in nav which helps you with finding work, giving you money if you're having issues and stuff. Even if you have a job, you can apply for the social help.)
In my family, we are about 4 people, excluding our dog. To feed us, we spend about 7k kronus a month, or a bit more, if we're including snacks and other stuff like this. For one person, it would be much less. Mind you, if you can't cook or dislike cooking, I would say you'll struggle, considering it's much more expensive to eat out than cook yourself (but it's probably not worse than the American costs).
I'll give an example of a few foods here and how much it costs.
Chicken burito with sweet fries and sauce (from a cafe) - 187 kronus
Cake slice (from a cafe) - 50 kronus
1kg of chicken breasts (frozen from a store) - from 378 to 400 kronus (other chicken parts are cheaper/buying non-frozen can be cheaper)
Things can be a bit expensive if you're from an European country like I was, but from what I've seen, American prices are similar or worse.
I would say that things can be expensive in norway, but it's also not impossible to survive.
If you are thinking of getting rich in norway, then you won't. Everyone lives almost the same in norway. You ever seen Norwegian house photos on google? It's very similar in real life.
I would recommend to come to norway if:
you're not scared to learn a new language
can cook
have a driver's license. (driving lessons here can be from 35k to more depending on what school you're going to)
It's a good country and the social culture is pretty nice here, same for how welcoming the place is, but remember that every place has it's minuses and you need to be sure about it before making a big decision like moving.
This is from my experience. I live in the middle of norway, a couple hours from Trondheim, so expenses could be very different in the southern or northern parts of norway.

Is Norway LGBT+ friendly?
Insanely so! Not only the laws are very open minded towards lgbtqia+ folk, it's also very normal to be part of the community. Nobody looks at you strange if you wear pride accessories. In schools, children are taught about lgbtiqia+ topics to teach acceptance and any hate speech is looked down upon socially.
All year round you can find lgbtiqia+ stuff to buy at stores and signs that encourage open mindedness. I'm currently getting help from the employment agency in norway and even some of the employees carry around pins or other accessories to show they are allies or part of the community.

(As an american) Could be better. Results are terrifying but I have my fingers crossed for a recount because of everything that's been happening (there is evidence of cheating. A LOT of stuff happened)
Yeah, it seems pretty damn scary. I live in norway, so it doesn't affect me as much as everyone else, but I can only hope that things don't get much worse.
For anyone wondering, Norway has a pretty good social structure, and social help, to those that need it. If you're looking into emigrating and aren't scared of learning a new language, it's a good option (almost everyone talks english here, but knowing Norwegian is good for getting better work and education).

Will I like working on Day Crew?
WARNING: This is a novice reading. It's just for fun. Do not take it as a serious fact.
The cards that you got are:
JUSTICE - FOUR OF PENTACLES - QUEEN OF WANDS
Justice: The task ahead of you will be tough and will depend on your ability to balance your work and your personal life. Use your intuition before rushing into a decision. Take your time, there is no need to rush things when you do not feel ready.
Four of Pentacles: This card represents financial stability but the possibility of misery even because of the stability. Be prudent with your spending.
Queen of Wands: You will gain your independence. Confidence is key, so do not buckle under pressure.
OVERALL: The task in front of you will be tough. While the job will give you the stability you seek, you must overcome obstacles. Confidence is key. Do not buckle under pressure and take time before making many decisions.

Hii, I've been playing around with tarot cards. Nothing too serious but it's pretty fun and can be accurate at times.
If anyone wants me to answer any questions with tarot cards, feel free to send in an ask!
It might not be too accurate, but its gonna be fun and might help you put stuff into perspective.
If you're asking a question, send in a specific question like (will I like my new job) and not (how is my life going to be). You will get clearer answer then!
Also, add what name or nickname you want the question to be asked in!
(if you want it to be private, you can send me a message too ✨✨)

To learn how to enjoy writing again and writing for myself, I've started doing solo journaling RPGs.
I'm wondering if anyone is interested in me posting my journaling documents, as I've been writing them as stories. (Not sure if this is how you solo journal, but it's the way that works for me with the current campaign I'm doing)

random question, what are your favourite types of 'dere'?
Personally? I love yanderes and tsunderes, those are my top faves. In mangas and manhwas, I like kuuderes and bakaderes for love interests besides yanderes and tsunderes
