Shinsou blinks back in shock when he feels the damp cloth against his head-- he hadn’t even noticed her movements. Maybe he really was out of it. “There really isn’t a need for all that. I just... I need to sleep a bit.” He suggested, pushing her hand away from his head. Shinsou’s frown deepens, “I just haven’t had a few good nights is all. It isn’t like I am actually sick or anything.”
@mindjack-toshi a reply to the ask if that’s okay!
“ it is important, ” she insists, reaching into her bag to pull out a water bottle and cloth. dampening it, she holds it against his forehead. “ you need to sit down in the shade and relax. I’ll get you some gatorade and a snack from the vending machine. ” she may not have known his situation, but she wanted to help nonetheless. “ you’re making the same face I make when my sisters have pulled me in seven different directions. let me help you. ”

Shinsou jumps back slightly as the tentacles begin to form, his teeth clenching together. How the hell could he become a hero if he couldn’t save Tamaki? He readies his capture weapon, eyes watching for any sudden movements to take over the other’s mind.
“Then why don’t you stop?” He asks quietly, “I’ll help you. You don’t have to listen to them anymore.” Shinsou was so close, his expression showing hesitation as he slowly puts his hand out, dropping his weapon. “I can’t let you go-- the Tamaki-san I know wouldn’t want me to.”
mindjack-toshi:
Shinsou stumbles as the words leave the other teen, the capture weapon rearing off course. His foot slams down on the ground as he slides to a hault a few feet away from Tamaki, his eyes wide in shock– the idea was to capture the other, but if he remembered just a little…
“Why not?” His voice sounds distored through the voice modulator. “Isn’t that your job?” Shinsou could have taken over his mind, if the other makes any move to attack he would, but he needed to try and get Tamaki to remember. They might not really be friends, yet he wanted to try.
“My…job…?” He didn’t know what his job was yet. So far he’d help capturing several people. They might have been heroes. He wasn’t sure. He didn’t ask. It wasn’t his place. He just did what he was told.
Why were there so many pro’s here? To him it seemed excessive for such a small group. And he’d heard his name thrown out by the one with dressed like this one here. He wish he hadn’t gotten separated from the others.
“I don’t…hurt people...” He backed up a little, manifesting tentacles from is back. “Just let me go.”

*: ・゚✧ interrogation starters.
feel free to change pronouns etc as needed.
CALM / QUESTIONING.
“ tell me, what happened?”
“ did you see anything?”
“ what do you remember?”
“ do you remember anything unusual?”
“ please, try to remember as much as you can.”
“ every detail is important.”
“ and what happened next?”
“ and what did you do when all this took place?”
“ what were you doing around __ am/pm?”
“ where were you around __ am/pm?”
“ can anyone verify that?”
“ was someone with you?”
“ and you had nothing to do with it?”
“ and you weren’t involved?”
“ did you see it happen?”
“ did you see who did it?”
“ did you see or hear anything? anything at all?”
CARING / UNDERSTANDING.
“ you seem scared… is that why you don’t want to talk?”
“ did someone hurt you?”
“ it’s okay. you can tell me.”
“ you were just trying to defend yourself, weren’t you?”
“ we can take a break, if you want.”
“ everything will be okay, i promise. but you need to talk to me.”
“ it’s okay if you don’t want to talk about it. but it really would help if you did.”
SUSPICIOUS.
“ there is something you’re not telling me.”
“ i think you’re lying.”
“ you looked away just now when you said that. are you sure you’re telling the truth?”
“ except what you’re telling me doesn’t align with what we already know.”
“ seems to me like you know more than you’re letting in on.”
“ what aren’t you telling me?”
“ who are you trying to protect?”
“ so you really don’t know what any of it means? no clue at all?”
“ they must’ve told you more than that.”
“ you have to have seen more than that.”
“ and you want me to believe you don’t remember?”
“ and you want me to believe you had nothing to do with it?”
“ an accident? is that what you’re going with?”
DEMANDING.
“ i need you to tell me the truth.”
“ i need you to tell me what happened.”
“ i know you’re not telling me the truth.”
“ that doesn’t line up with the evidence. so… you wanna try that again?”
“ stop lying. i already know that’s not what happened.”
MAKING A DEAL / ASKING FOR HELP / DEMANDING HELP.
“ what do you want in exchange for this information?”
“ i’m listening…”
“ you’re coming with me.”
“ since you’re the only one who knows how to find them, i don’t really have a choice but to take you with me.”
“ fine. i’ll take you with me, but if you try anything…”
“ i can’t give you that. you know that.”
“ if we’re going to make a deal, you’re gonna have to ask for something a little more rational than that.”
“ okay. we have a deal.”
“ sorry. no deal.”

Shinsou shrugs his shoulders, apparently not saying the right thing to comfort the other.
“I have a phobia of ants.” He blurts out, blink back the shock of his own words. “They creep me out and I one time I had a dream I was surrounded by little tiny ants and woke up freaking out thinking there were ants all over in my room.” Shinsou scratches the back of his neck as he spoke. “We-- Everyone is afraid of stuff. It doesn’t make it any less valid.”
mindjack-toshi:
Shinsou sighs slightly at the response he received. While he didn’t sleep well nightly, he did understand bad dreams. The few times he actually did sleep was usually wrestles with him waking every two hours.
Grabbing the jacket, he holds onto it furrowing his eyebrows debating on how to help the other. “Mundane? If it causes you stress, then it isn’t mundane.” He mutters, “We all have our nightmares and it is different for everyone.”
“Shinsou-kun, you’ll learn that everything…causes me stress.” So it was mundane. Sometimes walking in a new area would send him into a downward spiral of never ending worry. What he didn’t want, was others to worry.
“I can handle it..”

(ErasureTeacher) “I’ve had no energy for three days.”
Extremely Exhausted Starters @erasureteacher
“Sleep usually helps with that.” Shinsou responds back sarcastically, before realizing who he was talking to. “Sorry--” He grumbles, “Do you... maybe if you take a night off from work you might feel better?” Shinsou suggested.

Shinsou wobbles on his feet, clenching his teeth in an attempt to keep himself steady. He couldn’t let such a minor injury effect him so much or he would never get ahead.
“Then what are we? Friends? Don’t make me laugh.” Shinsou scoffed at the idea-- being friends with people in 1-A. “I don’t need your pity.” He mumbles, crossing his arms over his chest.
He blinks in shock at the sudden frantic movement in front of him, yes growing wide. “I already am, see.” Shinsou responded back sarcastically, taking a deep breath before trying to take a step only to stumble letting out a curse as he ankle gave out.
mindjack-toshi:
Shinsou’s lips formed a smooth straight line; his eyebrows furrowing together. His eyes glaring down at his foot that was throbbing in pain. The one time he was able to train with Class 1-A and he managed to hurt himself– how the hell was he going to transfer with this?
He nearly jumps out of his skin when the teen with glasses walked up behind him. The question had him scoffing– thinking the other teen was looking down on him. “I’m fine.” He snaps, unable to keep his frustration out of his tone.
Taking in a deep breath, Shinsou pushes himself off the ground, pain shooting up his leg as he does. He feels his shoulders quiver; however, he keeps his expression blank. “See. Perfectly fine–.” If he stood took a step, he wouldn’t be able to keep his balance.
The scoff made him blink, but he wasn’t offended by the attitude. He sort of expected it, with how they first met before the Sports Festival. What worried him was how his ankle was, and how he snapped.
“I’m just trying to help you, Shinso-kun. I’m not your enemy like in the Sports Festival. This was supposed to help both classes!” He pointed out, hoping to ease the sharp tone Shinso had.
He jumped when he stood, his hands reaching out to catch him just in case. Yet one chopped almost frantically in worry, almost naggingly. “Wait-! You shouldn’t stand like that, your ankle could even be broken or dislocated, you shouldn’t put weight on it!”

“We need to get out of the heat, you’re starting to look sick.”
Extremely Exhausted Starters
Shinsou may have felt a bit dizzy-- must have been the lack of sleep lately. A few of the younger kids at the foster home were having bad nights which meant he was staying up with them. “I-- just need to sit down for a minute. Nothing to worry about.”

“I don’t get it.” Shinsou is silent for a moment, “That seems counter productive.”
“What can I say? Sometimes I see a cute boy and I just have to go.”

mindjack-toshi:
Shinsou backs up when Tamake startles awake, his hands up as if showing an open position. He doesn’t say anything as the other begins to gather himself, his lips curving into a deeper frown.
“That didn’t look fine.” Shinsou states dryly, a hint of concern wiggling its way into his tone. “You have those types of dreams often?”
“Not…often no.” He raked hi fingers through his hair a little before turning to grab Shinsou’s jacket. Folding it gave his hands something to do, his stomach twisted in knots with the images still in his head. He quietly handed the folded jacket back to the other.
“It’s a…recent development. Usually I just have bad dreams of…mundane things.” Things his anxiety would twist into bigger problems.

Extremely Exhausted Starters
“You. Rest. Now.”
“You took five steps and need to sit down again?”
“I’m absolutely fine, I just need to sit down.”
“I just need to sit-what do you mean I’m already laying down?”
“Your eyes aren’t focusing. Just close them for ten minutes.”
“Write one sentence on this piece of paper, and then I’ll let you up.”
“I just need a breather, that’s all. Maybe ten. No fifteen.”
“We’re both so exhausted we can’t even argue about not being exhausted.”
“When I said I needed five more minutes I meant it more like hours.”
“… no… I’m tired… let me sleep… I don’t want to get up.”
“We need to get out of the heat, you’re starting to look sick.”
“You can’t hide those shaking hands from me. You need to stop.”
“I’m just a little cold, I’m okay, really. Let me sit with a blanket or something.”
“Moving…? No I’m good thanks.”
“Gravity has a hold on me of which I have not the strength to break.”
“Was… was that actually there? That wasn’t there was it?”
“I’ve had no energy for three days.”
“You worked yourself so hard that you’ve been sentenced to three days of bed rest.”
“Listen I can… I can get up. It’s fine.”
“If we’re both in this state, we both really screwed up somewhere huh?”
“I have energy for exactly one more person of favourable standing, and going the hell to bed. With or without that person, bed is happening.”
“You’ve struggled to move anything for the last hour.”
“This is what happens when you over exert yourself.”
“You were almost dead from pushing it too far!”
“I went a little overboard sure… but I’m still alive. So shh.”

Shinsou quirks an eyebrow at the girl-- it wasn’t like they were friends. “Sensei told my class to meet them outside. I have no idea why-- I think he wants us to write out there to become ‘one with nature’.” He rolls his eyes as he spoke-- he wished he was in the Hero Course if this was his alternative.

Has Entered The Castle
As the brunette had been walking down the hall to her gym class, she bumped into another student. It was Shinso! She gave him a smile and a small wave. “Hey, long time no see. Where are you headed? I have gym class now.”
