“Hey babe, are you alright?” Part 2
Hey guys! I’m finally back with part 2 of the first fanfic I ever wrote. Sorry it took me a while, I had no motivation to continue writing this but today I just randomly got in the mood to write it. So here it is:) According to my calculations, there should be two more parts to this fanfic!
Mc (Laura Lacey) x Becca
As she turned around, Becca made eye contact with her longtime celebrity crush-- Laura’s eyes somehow looked browner and beautifuler in person. Becca was speechless for a second, mouth gaping before she realized that Laura had asked her a question and was looking at her quizzically.
“Oh! Erm..” Becca began. How was she supposed to tell her idol that she had forgotten to bring her tickets to the one concert she had been looking forward to for her entire life? Would Laura even believe her?
Laura probably heard this story too many times-- fans trying to get into her concert without paying, but Becca had actually forgotten her ticket.
“I’m sorry to bother you, I just realized I forgot my ticket to your show at home and I don’t know what to do” Becca spoke faster than she ever had before.
Laura laughed, which made Becca’s heart soar. Her laugh was so adorable, and just hearing it made Becca smile.
“Oh, that's not a problem at all!” Lacey began. “Don’t you have a copy of the ticket on your phone?” she questioned. Becca’s heart dropped, and she looked to the floor before saying,
“I… I didn’t want any distractions at your show, I've been a really huge fan for a long time, and meeting you has been my dream for the longest time..”
Lacey looked at her and smiled the most genuine smile that Becca had ever seen.
“Oh that's quite alright, I’m flattered that such a beautiful woman like yourself is a fan. Would you like a picture or autograph? We can use my phone and I can send you the picture if you’d like” Laura said sweetly.
Becca was at a loss for words. First of all, Laura Lacey called her beautiful. Second of all, she offered to take a picture on her phone, which meant that Laura was actually paying attention to her rambling.
“Um.. Yes! Let me just find a napkin to get your autograph” Becca said as she started looking through her messy purse.
“Oh dear, that's quite alright, here’s a copy of my latest single, you can keep it. It already has my signature on it!” Laura Lacey grabbed a copy of a CD from the bodyguard standing beside her and handed it to me.
Her hand touched Becca’s for a split second, before pulling away. Becca had just touched Laura Lacey’s hand. Her life couldn’t be better.
“Did you have a VIP ticket? I’d imagine a beauty like you would want to meet me backstage before the performance” Laura winked.
Becca couldn’t be more surprised. Somehow this woman could read her like a book.
“Yes, actually I did. Shouldn’t you be backstage warming up before your big performance?” Becca asked. She wanted to spend time with Laura but not if it resulted in her being late to her own show.
“Oh dear, you’re right. Why don’t you join me backstage, since you would have anyways?” Laura said, in the sweetest voice ever imaginable.
“I would love to, but only if you’re sure I wouldn’t be overstepping” Becca wanted this opportunity, but she didn’t want to come off too hard.
“It’s not a problem,” Laura smiled. She placed her hand on the small of Becca’s back and led her through a private entrance to her backstage lounge.
“Welcome to where the magic happens!” Laura exclaimed, before offering Becca some champagne.
Becca took it, and was surprised when Laura didn’t take any.
“And none for you?” Becca asked.
“I wait until after my shows to drink, I have more to celebrate then you know”
Becca smiled as she took a sip of champagne. She never would have thought she would have this kind of opportunity in all of her life. But then something happened that made Becca’s heartbeat quicken even more.
“I wish you were here for one more night” Lacey began singing. She was warming up for her concert by singing a song she wrote and composed when she was only sixteen years old. Becca had loved this woman since she first released this very song, and Becca knew every word.
Becca sat there, staring at Lacey. She was so amazed to see that her voice was the exact same as in her videos. There wasn’t even a slight difference. Becca just sat there, gazing at Lacey while she sang.
When Lacey realized that Becca was indeed staring at her, her cheeks became a bright pink, and she avoided making eye contact. Becca however realized this.
Becca had really just made THE Laura Lacey blush. No big deal. Her heart was pounding in her head.
“How would you like to be on stage with me for my performance?” Laura asked suddenly. Becca was amazed and startled at the same time. Losing those tickets was the best mistake in her life.

“Hey Babe, are you alright?”
Hi everyone! This is my first ever fan fiction and I really hope you guys like it:) I’ve been thinking of writing fanfiction for so long now and now that I actually have the time I thought why not:) I am by no means a writer so I apologize for the grammar in advance
Pairing: MC (Laura) x Becca (AU)
Plot: Becca woke up early in the morning, feeling giddy over the events that occured last night. Was it all just a dream?
Becca’s POV
As Becca was getting ready, she was constantly thinking about impressing her favourite singer/songwriter, Laura Lacey. Scoring VIP tickets to Laura’s concert in New York City wasn’t easy— Becca found herself staying up all night to purchase the tickets as soon as they went online.
She planned her outfit to the T, and made sure that she was sure to catch Laura’s eye. As she continued getting ready, she thought about what she would say to Laura when she met her backstage— she didn’t want to make it awkward, but she had been in love with Laura since her first song came out. Becca had been a true fan from day one, when Laura had no followers, no fans, just a small youtube channel.
As Becca got into a taxi and told the driver the location of the concert, he turned back, surprised. “You? A Laura Lacey fan?” Becca glared at him, knowing that he was right. She didn’t seem like the typical fan. Laura Lacey was the largest known singer/songwriter-- but for country music. Since Becca knew she didn’t meet the stereotypical look for country music lovers, she stayed quiet and smiled at the taxi driver, before he began to drive.
As Becca stood in line for the doors to the hall to open, she looked around at the other people attending. Were they all here to meet Laura? Were they all die hard fans like Becca? Just thinking that someone else could be catching Laura’s eye made her sick to her stomach. Becca knew that Laura wasn’t hers, but she really wanted her to be. And although she would never do anything that would harm or hurt Laura in any way, she just wanted a chance. Laura’s happiness meant her happiness, and if that was with someone else, so be it.
As she made her way to the front of the line, she started looking around her bag for her VIP ticket. To her surprise, there was no ticket there. Becca started freaking out and dumped the contents of her purse on the floor, dropping down on her knees, trying to find the tickets that she had so carefully placed in her purse. Or that’s what she thought. Becca didn’t even have her phone on her, she thought it would just distract her from the concert, so she had left it at home.
Becca’s vision started blurring as tears started forming in her eyes. Had she really missed the opportunity of a lifetime just because she forgot her ticket at home? She was losing hope fast, and slowly began packing up the contents of her purse.
As she looked around, she realized that everyone around her had already entered the concert. She was left alone in the hall, which made her want to cry even more. “Everyone else was smart enough to actually bring their tickets” thought Becca.
Suddenly, she hears a sweet voice coming from behind her.
“Hey babe, are you alright?”
Becca’s heart stopped beating. She’d recognize that voice anywhere. As she slowly turned around, her heart fell to her stomach.
It was Laura Lacey. The Laura Lacey. Standing a foot away from Becca.

in this house, we love, support, and respect melissa benoist.
she didn’t say his name and neither should you. he doesn’t deserve our thoughts or our attention. she does.
say her name instead. thank her for her grace, her strength, her courage, and her candor.
this is her story. and the takeaway from it is simple: love should never hurt. domestic violence is never okay.
there are so many abuse survivors out there, and current abuse victims, who have not and may never feel comfortable opening up about their experiences- and for good reason. but melissa was able. even with so many eyes across the world watching her, even under such a harsh spotlight as a celebrity and public figure, she had the courage and resilience to leave her abuser and now she has finally worked up the sheer superhero strength that it takes to open up about it.
she did this not only for herself and her healing, but for all the survivors out there who have been silenced. who are not in a place where they can or are able or even want to speak about their trauma, which is understandable considering the scope of abuse that so many people out there have withstood.
so let’s show our supergirl some love, yeah?
i stand with melissa. do you?
