Kaya (Hello), this piece represents the 'Wagyl' (Rainbow Serpent), A snake-like creature from the Dreamtime. It moved through the lands creating the rivers and lakes of the South-West, and moving his way inland, in turn, shaping the hills and valleys. As the Wagyl passes through his scales peel off creating the forests and bushlands. Still said to reside beneath the deep springs.

I call this piece 'The Journey' as it represents a life experience through interpreting and learning.

As we grow our need for new experiences drives us with a curiosity to try the unexpected. Set on a path to gain the knowledge and wisdom of life's secrets, we embrace the world through visual, sound, feeling, and thought. With all that is going on in the world today, we are influenced in both, a positive and negative light. It is our beliefs and values which keep us on the path of sanity, with hopes of a better tomorrow. Though conflicts in beliefs and values are a given, standing strong in what we believe in gives us a direction of hope and inner strength vital to our wellbeing.
