So fun fact: my appeals back when I realized this blog had been flagged were never processed, as you can see I eventually gave up and made a new blog, and today I realized that my blog (and the few preview and event things) would be hidden and did one last appeal (last because I wasnt about to try over and over).

It got processed in the same day. I guess they are quick to review today if they worry about backlash about blog and content flagged wrongly. But I’m honestly happy?

Of course, now that I made a new blog, I’m going to stick with the new one. But it’s really, really nice to know this one won’t be hidden anymore, since sometimes there are still people finding the few fics I had on here.

Don’t know if I’m going to start right now before bed, or tomorrow, but probably going to work on it this week; but I’m likely to make a new blog for myself.

It’s just... ridiculous I’m still waiting, who knows maybe in some days or some weeks I’ll finally see a mail reply or the flag removed; but as it is I’m just done waiting and not being able to feel relaxed and do my fanfics things.

This blog is going to be an archive, I’ll link of course the new blog. I’m going to use a new url because in the off chance tumblr does check my blog to unflag it, they will check “chrisemrysblog” so yeah, not using same url for a new blog.

I’d like to know how long it takes for  @staff  to handle forms, and in this case “blog incorrectly marked explicit” forms.

It’s been a few weeks since I’ve sent the first one, and as willing as I am to wait, I’ve had to send basically one form a week for maybe a month now in hope to show that I actually, really need this blog to have this incorrect flag removed, once I realized I never saw any reply or action after the initial one. I’ve never receive a single mail back (except the automatic ones but these are, as said, automatic) and I can only worry maybe they actually dont get to the staff for some reasons.

I’m going to participate in events starting next month, and I’ve already been forced to pause my activity here because it’s harmful to me that my posts arent seen in tags. And it’s bothering me a lot, I cannot understand why nothing has been done when I’ve made sure to wait, or is it that I actually have to send forms more often to hope to have this incorrect flag removed?

I’m honestly very close to close this blog and open a new one, but that worries me to know the only solution to incorrect flagging is to remake a blog, when its supposed to be as easy as send a form and wait for the blog to be reviewed and unmarked as explicit. Especially when I know I dont have explicit posts, since I’ve always been aware anything explicit could make this happen.

I just really hope something is done and I dont have to make a new blog, just because a flag isnt being removed.

Hello, DGM community! We’re here to announce the first Allena Week! This is a week dedicated to the relationship between Allen Walker and Lenalee Lee, whether you see it as platonic, romantic or anything in-between. 

Allena week will be taking place September 9 - 15 with two different prompts every day, centering around several themes: Music, Time & Ties. Because of how early it is and to ensure the quality of the prompts, we’ll be withholding them until around June.

Important Info: Canon AU DGM/Allen Walker

This is important for any and all stories I write in canonverse (including anything that might be time/dimension travel or reincarnation, so basically anything that ties back to canon DGM).

The very first story I started writing for DGM is Meet me Halfway to the End, which is canon au, based on what my ideas and headcanons have been for the origin of the war and what happened 35 years ago (and I call it canon au because I would be the first surprised to be right).

I’ve fallen in love with that canon au, and that’s why anything I write in canonverse is based on the same headcanons. Stories are still separated (unless I clearly say they’re sequel/prequel), and most canonverse stories (especially shorter/events ones) don’t really show anything of the headcanons/au part. But they are still written with a specific set of headcanons&ideas, especially Allen.

As it is, I do plan to write three stories that are the background for any canonverse stories: a “origin of war” story, a “35 years ago events” story, and a “Allen’s life until joining the Order” story. Again, not everything in those might even show in canonverse stories, but they would show the worldbuilding I have behind any canonverse I write (unless I clearly say a story is set within a new canon au, and of course, complete au are their own thing).

I can’t say much to not spoil Meet me Halfway to the End, but there are a few facts that I can share:

-> Allen is at least 19 years old. He’s spent roughly two years in an orphenage and then almost a year in the street before being sold to the circus. He was around 5 years old when he ended in the orphenage; but he actually doesn’t have much memories and that’s why he’s not certain how long he spent there. This means he was around 8 when sold to the circus, but he did lie about his age, saying he was 6 or 7. He’ll keep that lie, so Cross doesn’t really know he’s a bit older, and so his life when he joins the Order will have his age marked as “16 or 17″ (and so he’s believed to be 17/18 by the time he’s on the run).

-> Once on the run, he matures physically, so he does look a bit more young adult than late teens, basically people that don’t know him do guess he’s around 19 or 20.

-> He does not recall anything before the orphenage, has only a few vagues memories of the orphenage (and one vivid memory), has a bit more memories of his time in the street (but still a bit vague), and so that’s why he might (and often does) say he doesn’t recall his time before the circus.

So yeah except Allen’s age (with some explanation), the rest doesn’t usually come up, or is just hinted. But when I finally do write and post those three background story, and/or when Meet me Halfway progress, you might have a better idea~

In short: canonverse stories are separated but are all based on the same set of headcanons/ideas (which also includes how Allen and/or other people feel/think of events and people).
