Artania arriving at Cape Town Cruise Terminal this morning Taken from the deck of the MSC Sinfonia this morning - 25th February 2023 The pic of the trip I have always wanted to do the Cape Town - Walvis Bay - Luderitz- Cape Town trip, my high light being to go to Kolmanskop, so with Covid kind of gone, I planned this trip 6 months in advance and as I had not traveled since 2014 was looking forward to this trip. Well, needless to say, the day of departure on Monday 20th Februar Cape Town experienced a cold front of note We departed Cape Town at 8 pm, unfortunately 4 hours behind schedule, and we were informed that due to heavy swells in Luderitz, we would not be going but would overnight in Walvis Bay. I was, of course, disappointed, but when sailing, you have no control over the weather.
