I know everyone here knows what a crap breeder looks like and we can all justifiably shit on them all day, every day; but can we take a moment to celebrate what a Huge Green Flag this miniature poodle breeder is? I've been following along for this litter, and she does seriously incredible work with them and her dogs.
This is Mostly Mischeif Poodles from Nanimo, BC, Canada.
The amount of work, time, and effort this breeder has funnelled into this litter should be the gold standard for breeders everywhere. Not only does she do health testing, breed for health and purpose (both companionship and sports), but she follows along with puppy culture plus a few extras beyond the PC guide, AND she ensures that the pups experience multiple grooms before they leave her home.
We just see SO MUCH negativity around breeders and breeding - and often justifiably - that it feels really, really important to acknowledge and celebrate when you find a really fucking excellent breeder. I don't think we do that enough, so I'm starting - because I think it's important to share when you find an ethical breeder who does incredible work.

An extraordinary Acheulean handaxe knapped around a fossil shell circa 500,000-300,000 years ago.
The maker appears to have deliberately flaked around the shell to preserve and place it in a central position. As a result this handaxe has been described as an early example of artistic thought.
From West Tofts, Norfolk.

The more despair I endure in life, the more I love Frodo. I'm just. I'm so glad that Tolkien wrote him like that. He was a hero and it broke him. He was given too much to carry. The circumstances were dire, everyone was doing the best they could, and Frodo tried so hard, for such a good cause, and he...broke. And the narrative has pity for him, the characters show him kindness. Even after victory, his hurts did not heal, and it isn't considered his fault. He must go to the undying lands, to seek out peace there. In universe, he is forgiven for being human - don't be pedantic - and his great torment is recognized. He fell. He could not have done it alone. He is still a hero.
And, I think that's important.

I often think about that one interview where someone asks a young taylor swift if she doesn't find it wrong to dropname her exes in songs and she's like "well if they didn't want songs about them they shouldn't have done bad things" and I honestly think she's so right like I see absolutely no flaw in her logic. Anyways stream my new single called "Taylor Swift's Carbon Emissions" available on all streaming platforms until I get a cease and desist under the threat of a defamation lawsuit :)
