Completed a year long internship (extended)

I have just completed an amazing year at Yourgene Health company, as a Bioinformatics intern. I stayed for 6 months after my contract end to continue some work on Nanopore Sequencing and COVID test analysis systems.

1st Place WINNERs OF HACKATHON | GREATUNIHACK 2019 | ASTRAZENECA’S TASK

My teammates and I created An App that encourages users to analyze & then plot plants on a map, which can then be looked after by other users. Offering Sustainability & Mental Benefits. Incorporating an ML API and Navigation API as well as mobile platforming and gamification. This was my first hackathon and I was thrilled to win in this photo (and very tired after +24 hours without sleep).*

Screenshots from A Fully functioning Event Finding Web App designed at the University Of Manchester by my project team Z1 + myself. Awaiting the grade, however we were really impressed with the final result. It was based of mySQL databasing PHP, and then HTML and CSS. Coded over the space of 2 Months, using two API’s.

An event which i organized alongside a team at TEDxUniversityofManchester. It was an amazing day in which everything came together. Even the cage which I bought from screwfix using Waste pipes somehow went up - Budget decorating!! Pictured, the event + myself + a friend (max) supplying music in during the breaks.

Next year I will go on to be Events Team Manager!
