i desperately need buck to find a ring hidden somewhere in the house after they’ve been living together for a few months and for tommy to find him frozen with the ring in his hand and tears in eyes…
“this isn’t how i wanted to do this.”
“how…how long have you had this?”
“…since we got back together.”
buck’s head shoots up, he stares at tommy as a tear drops down his face, he lets out a laugh that’s also a sob, and he just starts nodding
“yes”
tommy’s eyes widen as he inhales sharply
“what?”
buck steps closer
“yes, tommy.”
tears fill tommy’s eyes
“but i had a whole plan. a whole speech”
buck shakes his head rapidly
“i don’t need it. this is perfect.”
a smile breaks out across tommy’s face, his eyes crinkling
“yeah?”
buck laughs, giddy
“yes. absolutely, yes.”
and then tommy just grabs him and gives him a kiss that’s mostly just teeth and tears because neither of them can stop smiling and crying

Ginny & Georgia S3:E10 SPOILERS!

*
This scene BROKE me. I mean that. The anguish that's going on here? The pain, the heartbreak, all of it. FUCK. Marcus is in the throes of depression and alcoholism to the point where he's completely out of it.
Remember Ginny's self-harm and how she lashed out at him when he climbed through her window in S1E8? In part because in that moment, he was a vehicle for her to throw all her pain at, considering what she'd just seen with her parents. But also, there was that element of shame, as there is with self-harm. She didn't want anybody to know, didn't want to be seen like that. The same thing with Abby and her bulimia. Marcus also didn't want anyone to really see his pain, and so threw himself into Ginny's problems to avoid dealing with his own.
Except now he's so far gone that he doesn't even have the energy to keep all of this hidden. No more ''I'm fines" and all that. When Ginny realised he wet the bed and he hadn't even noticed because he was so out of it was absolutely heartbreaking. I'm actually fighting back tears while writing this. And the only thing he wants is to hear the poem she wrote about him, 'Sunshine', because, you know, Ginny sees him completely differently from how he sees himself. He's reached a point where he HATES himself, even. He doesn't like being with himself. All the turmoil he has ever felt has now caught up to him, and he's slipping. Going, going, gone. Mental health? Fried. Academics? Dumpster. His journey is just . . . It makes me sad. I'm sad.
I'll admit, most of my Team Minny feels in S1 came from Marcus's face card and the clichés of his vibe and schtick with Ginny. By Sophomore Sleepover, of course I knew he had more going on because of losing his best friend. And then when he helped drunk Max get to bed and when he was with Ginny and Max playing with Austin and Caleb + sending Paul upstairs to see Georgia and Joe as a favour to Ginny (cause she was feeling spiteful). It didn't take long for me to see he had depth, hidden or not. But S2 transformed and developed his character and S3 just took it home in the best and most painful way.

let’s just talk about joe singh yall.
- he waited for georgia for 15 years
- named his horse milkshake after her
- he went to her WEDDING
- he watched her fall in love so many times and he still stayed
- he lets her throw and talk him around in s1 and 2 its so cute
- he made her feel safe enough to be herself around him and to talk about her problems
- he was the only one there for her consistently when she was struggling the most, someone she knew she could rely on
- he never judged or yelled at her EVER
- he punched her abuser because her own husband couldn’t
- then proceeds to apologize when she finds out because he was violent
- lets her be vulnerable with him and cry in his arms
- was respectful and apologizes when they kissed because he didn’t know if she would be more confused with everything that was going on
- was gentle with her when they finally kissed (when he held his hand behind hers so she wouldn’t hit it on the wall hshdjdncj)
- literally confesses to murdering all her husbands and he said “idc” !!!
bitches don’t want men they want joe singh.

I'll say it. Zion is a terrible father. He was absent for most of Ginny's childhood and loves to blame that on Georgia as if he wasn't off chasing his career, travelling all the time over taking care of Ginny. I'm not excusing Georgia's behaviour but atleast she's starting to hold herself accountable. All those years, if Zion really wanted to check in on them, he would have. There was nothing stopping him from being there for his kid. All this talk about Georgia keeping Ginny away from him asif his 'plan' wasn't to have his parents take care of Ginny as he travelled the world. I'm sorry but handing over your kid to your parents, so you don't have to be there for her is not good parenting.

I’m staying neutral about Zion calling CPS cause I get where he was coming from but it’s insane to me that his first reaction to hearing Georgia was abused was to say “she kept Ginny in a house with an abuser” like bro?? you think she knew Gil would be abusive when she started dating him? you think she didn’t get out of there as fast as possible? you think Gil would’ve just let her leave? that’s not how abuse works, abusers don’t just let you leave without putting up a fight or killing you
also when Ginny rightfully called him out for being absent and telling him that he made it worse by separating her, Georgia and Austin and that she needs her mom same as she needs him and his reaction being going over to Georgia’s to tell her he should’ve petitioned for custody sooner? did you not listen to anything Ginny just told you?
