Good morning guys! Finally awake. I was up waayyyyy too late finishing House of Leaves.

I keep having thoughts about The Truth and man. Man <3

If you guys are curious about how much planning i have for The Truth so far...

1300 words, but this is bulletpoints. So it's 1300 words of what will happen eventually in the comic, describing moments and interactions between characters. And I'm not even at the ending yet (though I DO have a bit of an idea)

The super dragon Susie in Truth part 5 looks sick. Also if Susie's soul had a little red, did she get influenced by the player a little bit?

Nope - I don't believe just ANY soul or Determination can be influenced by the player; if that were the case, we'd be able to control literally any human that showed up, which. Doesn't feel accurate, given the knowledge we have; we can ONLY control the soul within Kris. Susie may have some extra Determination, but that mostly lets her "break the rules".

However, I will say her having that bit of extra DT DID influence my decision for how much of a change Susie goes through. It's not MASSIVE, because that feels wrong to do (since its just one soul, and the only reference we really have for someone absorbing only one human soul is Asriel from Undertale, which we never get to see and can only assume appeared like he did in the True Pacifist ending fight) so. Gestures vaguely!

finding out that you love the thought is so beautiful omg, the thought has been my favorite undertale au for a million years, i remember when i was first into undertale and watching the comic dub on youtube and i still go back to read it occasionally, i used to make a lot of fanart of the thought when i was a wee child that i think about sometimes

It's definitely one of the better ones, I think! It's a great AU that's still fairly canon-compliant, while doing something unique and interesting with its premise. "What would happen if Sans took Frisk's soul to Asgore, and actually did his job as a sentry?"

SUCH a good concept, and it was VERY well-done. No notes. I even like the way they use Gaster - he's not necessarily trying to kill Sans just because, but because he's trying to prevent their world from being destroyed, from just *blip* - disappearing into nothing, one of hundreds of thousands of copies.

Just such a cool idea. And the fact he regrets hurting Frisk before being like "wait this could help me actually-"

amazing. 10/10.

Edit to add: I love Chara's personality too. I love when Chara is shown to just be a kid.

I haven’t heard that name in years

It's one of the few comics I still go back and read every once in a while; I love the creator's characterization of every character, and the way things aren't JUST focused on Sans himself, but also the consequences of his actions, the reactions to his disappearance, the children all having their own personalities and preferences, everything with Toriel and Asgore... It's just so well-done, and feels in-character. It's difficult to find stuff like that sometimes, I feel.

I really like the new profile picture.

I keep opening the ask menu to tell you this, then being like “wait is it really that important?” Then going back to the main blog page and seeing the pfp and thinking “wait that’s so cool I need to tell them!”

It’s so cool, it defeated the urge to be apathetic about it. Pretty neat, huh?

Silliness aside, thank you so much!! I really liked the Krusie icon, and I think it still is one I really like, but this one fits the fact Kris is my favorite character a bit more... plus, I wanted something a bit more complete to be my icon. I'm also just... deeply indecisive, and may end up changing it again, whoops lol.

Is Kris having red hair is because of their red soul or is it hair dew?

Yeah they dyed it, and dye it regularly. Toriel thinks it's cute, and has embarrassed them by using the word "dope" to describe their dye job.

They used to get it done by someone else, but now they do it themself.

something you'll notice is I don't draw backgrounds a lot - or if I do, they're drawn once, and then that setting is assumed to be used for the rest of the scene.

I really struggle with backgrounds, especially inanimate objects (houses, tables, anything man-made really), so don't expect me to draw them frequently for comics lmao
