crimson blade through tarnishedsilver armor, painted with the redinsignia of the resistance. first the armor melts round the blade, thenthe blood begins to seep, pouringslowly through the burning holemade by the man she once calledher friend. he twists the blade. shegasps, her breath hitches. he pullsthe blade from her back and she falls to her knees, blood beginningto pool behind her teeth, spill overher lips. one last scar, she thinks.
