Colin lashing out about her trapping him. At first i thought it was about his own hurt and fears, considering his first engagement but then it clicked that, while some of it is, most of it isn't, based on his expression and everything he did after, until their happy ending. It wasn't that. No, that's not it...that's projection, that also an excuse that can justify to him still wanting to get married to her without having to confess his feelings again and feel like a fool. Projection because Colin is actually the one who trapped her, lbr. He did what he did in the carriage, he did what he did in their new home, he seduced her, not the other way. He was the experienced partner who knew exactly what to do and she didn't even know what to truly expect. And he enjoys the fact that she has to marry him because he wants her to marry him. Simple as that. He throws it out there basically in a way to tell her 'you have to marry me, we've been intimate''. He doesn't want to stop the wedding, he doesn't want to risk her marrying someone because he didn't stop loving and wanting her. But he can't say it. And since he's also hurt, it serves as a way to lash out and hurt back as well, allowing him to cover up his actual feelings even more.
