Ex-Ghibli and Arrietty director Hiromasa Yonebayashi has founded a new studio called Ponoc and their first film based on Mary Stewarts book: Mary and the Witch’s flower is available now on DVD, Bluray and to stream.

Takahata Isao: A Legend in Japanese Animation July 2–October 6, 2019

I went to Takahata Isao exhibition. The reproduction of Alm’s mountain hut where Heidi lived was very real and the same as the animation. And, the diorama was also great! I started watching “Heidi, Girl of the Alps” last week. I felt it was a good thing to watch again after I became an adult.
