(im new with this theories i just finished the manga)

Theory, shower thought, whatever you wanna call it.

!Spoilers for the manga!

I'm not sure how possible this is, since I last read the manga like 6 months ago and all the details are rather blurred for me, but what if Undertaker still has not killed Sebastian because he has hopes of somehow retrieving r!Ciel's soul from him? Perhaps he's even doing some kind of side experiments or has had encounters with demons during his time as 136649. That reminds me how Othello mentioned that o!Ciel is the first living contractor he's taken a sample from, or something along the lines of that. Is there a possibility that he has noticed Undertaker's interest in demons when he was still a reaper? Maybe Othello intervened with an attempt of Undertaker to retrieve an eaten soul, or witnessed it happening? That attempt obviously was not successful but I believe it wouldn't stop UT from trying to find a way now that someone from a family so close to him has fallen victim to similar circumstances.

I'm not sure that I can find anything to back this up so if anyone wants to add something, pls feel free to do so!

Black Butler is VASTLY SUPERIOR in manga!

People can enjoy the Black Butler anime all they want, I was introduced to the manga by watching the anime. But let me tell you one thing, I will forever resent season 1 and season 2 of the black butler anime, it completly ruins the perception of the actual well-written storyline and it ruins so many good characters.

Also, before the Alois lovers attack me, I literally loved his character when I watched season 2 for the first time, but now I just wish that season didn't exist so we could’ve had more room for the canon compliant manga content.

When I read the manga for the first time I literally thought "Fuck. This manga is so fucking good and people are going to think im an absolute wierdo for enjoying it because of the anime."

The manga actually portrays Ciel and Sebastians dynamic in a more realistic and non gross and pedophelic manner. The manga makes Grell smarter instead of her just being a laughing stock and punching bag. The manga acknowledges and portrays the secondary characters a lot better and gives them depth. The manga follows a consistent plot.

Not to mention, the characters in the manga are a lot prettier than in the anime? Sebastian was done soooo dirty in the first 2 seasons of the anime.

I don't mean to shun the people who enjoy the anime, you can enjoy it all you want. But im just personally upset over the fact that this anime gives Kuroshitsuji very bad representation and overall perception.

Sigh. Can Black Butler just get a re-do or something? I would atleast love the Public School arc or Green Witch arc to get animated someday.

If you only watched the anime of Kuroshitsuji and heavily disliked it, I heavily advice you to read the manga. I've been obsessed with it for years, its genuienly so good.

And if you are someone who likes black butler but only watched the anime, I invite you to read the manga since it has a more consistent storyline and you get monthly content instead of rewatching the same episodes over and over!
