We are Group 2 Cierbot! - Cierbot is a robotics group with Ellesha Catajan as the Secretary, Seth Ciervo as the Builder, Erin Dacanay as the Designer, Richard Fritz as the Programmer, and Cassie Mercado as the Leader. - Cierbot is composed of awesome people scholars from University of Baguio Science Highschool.

Our very first robot, the LED and Buzzer Robot!
LED and Buzzer Robot - Requires a set of coding to play a song with the use of the buzzer.
This is the birth of Cierbot! We built our very first robot for the last quarter of SY 2018-2019. Our chosen song was “Baby” by Justin Bieber. Of course, we changed the lyrics to fit our Cierbot ;)
Cierbot, Cierbot, Cierbot oHhhH Like Cierbot, Cierbot, Cierbot nOoO
It was fun testing it several times, even when sometimes the timings and delays were hard to fix. We also had fun watching and listening to others’ robots and songs. Everyone was so creative!
Overall, this was a fun first experience to all of us. We experienced all sorts of emotions while performing our song but it was a success nonetheless!

For our second robot, we built the racebot.
Racebot - A racebot requires wheels to move and specific codes for it to avoid the obstacles.
The return of Cierbot! - Cierbot finally had a comeback. It turned into a racebot this time.
In the arena, there were several obstacles. It wasn’t a smooth start at first and we were eliminated early, but nonetheless we enjoyed watching other robots play.
In this robot, programming is an essential part of it. Our racebot had the aim to avoid the given obstacles while needing to be fast, quick, and a clean finish.

Last but not the least, we created a Sensor Bot.
Sensor Bot - A sensor bot requires a sensor that will detect an object and decide if the robot has to avoid it.

In the battle, we had a maze and the fastest robot wins. Though we did not win the battle, we had lots of fun building it, programming it, testing it, and even designing it.
This may be the last robot of our school year (2018-2019) but it’s not the last you’ll see of Cierbot. Cierbot even if not a champion, will always remain in our hearts <3
