I won't say thoughts and prayers because that's all the rest of the world ever spares us.

Months upon months ago I made this post about the situation in our country. Ever since, we have been subjected to immense political persecution, colonist and genocidal violence on indigenous people, the poor and indigent, the elderly, the disabled, and LGBT people (primarily trans women). All of that while the cost of living keeps astronomically rising, public health and education are left without funds, and many salaries remain stagnant at 2023 values. The president publicly PROMOTED A CRYPTO SCAM and got off scot free. This is an INTERNATIONAL CRIME.

Now they're locking up and permanently prohibiting one of the only people to have made a dent in the real power scheme of this country. Whether in agreement with her ideas or not, it's undeniable that Cristina Fernández is one of the few individual figures with enough political traction to win an election against this fascist regime.

I sit further left from her by much, but this is a mirror of our bloody dictatorial regime, and even more generally the usual oligarchy M.O. to ensure we remain under their heel.

hello all, i am a severely disabled intersex trans person who is developing crohn's disease, and deals with other health issues like schizophrenia, degenerative disc disease, and hypermobile ehler's danlos syndrome. tomorrow (6/6/25) is my birthday! i am currently saving up money to pay my phone bill to make sure i don't run out of service, and i have upcoming power & internet bills to pay for. i never really do anything to celebrate my birthday because i can't afford it- i don't plan on doing so this year, either, but i would like is to be able to reduce stress on my birthday if possible by being able to pay these bills on time, especially my phone bill (which is $15), which runs out of service on 6/6. if you're interested in helping me, you can do so in the following ways:

It carried no weapons, only diapers, medicine, and baby formula.

Yet 12 humanitarian activists including Greta Thunberg were arrested just for trying to show that Gaza deserves to live.

We live under siege, where hunger devours our bodies and death surrounds us.

The boat didn’t make it.

But we’re still here, facing pain and holding on to hope.

Has any of you experienced the feeling of living on one meal a day, divided among family members as if it were a precious treasure? This is our reality and our situation today. It has become a familiar scene to us, but it is met with cold international and global silence. How long, how long will we be left to face hunger and death alone? Wake up, dignity is being slaughtered here every day, and our hearts bleed in silence. How long will we remain afraid, displaced, hungry, besieged, and killed every day? How long? If hearts were made of stone, stones would crumble from the intensity of the pain and abandonment we are suffering. We hope that those with humanity and mercy in their hearts will support me and my family until we find something to eat and get out of here alive
