here it is again, my favorite day of the year. we remember today, we are borrowing dirt. you are not above creation; you are a part of it. you are not living on Earth; you belong to Her, you are a piece of Her. you are dust breathing; you are the ashes of a thousand forest fires, the stuff built from the corpses of stars. you are made and guided by the Force that controls life and death, beginnings and ends, and the pathways in between. death is not a curse, it is a phase of being: a roadway between states of consciousness. you'll return back to where you once were. but God has decided that you should get to be of a separate consciousness; God made you alive and human. do well with that and be grateful. and remember today to whom you belong, where you come from, and where you are going.

i hope the Divine may resonate in your life today in a way that you can see. (the Divine is always there; i hope today your eyes may be open to it.)

Your interpretation of Lilith is not universal yet somehow you’ve made it that every jewish or not worshipper of Lilith has been harasaed and spiritually attacked and evil eyed because OF YOU you have used your power for evil and i find it hard to accept you’ve done this. From the Lilith magazine to little girls inspired by anything about her, you have done much harm. shame on you.

Normally I don’t respond to these but I’m bored.

This is interesting, because Lilith magazine is specifically a Jewish publication and nobody is going after little girls who just find the midrash interesting. If you can find evidence of that, please feel free to share it.

Literally the only problem I’ve ever had is gentiles appropriating her in a worship context, which I see you’ve failed to recognize or acknowledge the harm of here. Or does the harm only matter if it’s the kind that impacts you?

I obviously don’t condone people harassing literal children or people going after Jewish practitioners about Lilith and policing the way someone interacts with their own roots, especially when gentiles do it. I’m not in control of others, if you’ve seen it. I haven’t. This feels like somebody grasping for a situation to be mad at because they equate being told “no” to the same type of damage they’re causing by appropriating.

(Also I’m generally not one to judge, but if people worshipping a yassified version of Lilith feel like they’re being spiritually attacked you may actually wanna consider if that’s coming from where you think it is, considering her actual cultural context)
