Call me Ci. And welcome to my blog. There's stuff on it, like stuff I like and care about. I don't really post much of my original stuff though. Other than that, that's all I have to say for now.

many of these books require trigger warnings, especially some of the older ones that are more likely to feature racial struggles of the time. please do your due diligence and search for tws if you want to read them!

this might sound stupid but I canât help but believe that the new wave of âbirth control is actually horrible for your body, you need to get off it immediatelyâ misinformation from influencers and the ânatural cycle trackingâ apps suddenly being advertised is a sneaky underhanded way of causing more unplanned pregnancies that people now cannot abort. now is possibly the worst time ever to turn towards ânatural family planningâ

the purpose of friends is to have people who unconditionally hate your shitty exes & relatives. like maybe YOU have a complex relationship with your father but i sure don't. i'm outside his house with a gun. he's not the unforgivable asshole who raised me he's just an unforgivable asshole

I truly hate the word "unalive." There are so many other euphemisms that fictional Italian mobsters worked so hard to provide you with and you just ignore them.

every year or so tik tok starts debating who the âreal mean girlâ was in mean girls and iâm just so baffled by the lack of media comprehension. the point is that they are ALL MEAN GIRLS. Yes! Janis was a mean girl. But so was Regina. All of the girls were mean girls!!! Thatâs what the gym scene is about, every girl gong up on stage and admitting something horrible theyâve done to another person.
Itâs why Cadyâs character had to be home schooled and not just transferring from a different school. It had to show you that everyone is capable of being a âmean girlâ because high school is kill or be killed. Itâs so easy to hurt others in the name of protecting yourself. Even girls who were kind and wanted to be kind succumbed to being a âmean girlâ in order to make it through the day.
Mean Girls isnât about right vs wrong. Itâs about hierarchies in high school, itâs about the performance of femininity, itâs about toxic femininity, itâs about expectations and the desire to be accepted.

the insane experience of missing a fictional character . like you can always go back and reread the book , replay the game , rewatch the show or movie , you can always go back & see them , but you can never experience them & their story for the first time again . its absurd to miss them because they'll always be there , but you'll miss when there were still new things for them to say .
for a small time they were real & growing and changing and you hung onto every new word, but now all they can do is repeat the same story forever&ever & they're not real anymore because you know everything they're going to do. & you miss them. its fucked man...
