Kingers personality is actually being a huge dork from what we’ve seen of lucid Kinger he’s also still silly but highly intelligent maybe a bit of a know it all but a softy with a big heart . He definitely snorts when he laughs

.   .   .   Even   without   arms   to   stem   off   of   shoulders   somehow   there   was   a   weight   to   the   sinking   of   his   posture   .   Eyes   filled   to   the   brim   of   with   unintelligible   mix   of   emotions   all   hitting   him   at   once   ,   confusion   ,   guilt   &&   something   else   .

❝   I   -   don't   ...   ❞   He   stumbles   over   his   words   ,   trying   to   make   sense   of   it   all   in   his   head.   He's   lucid   ,   yes   ,   he's   aware   ,   his   mind   is   clearer   .   It   doesn't   mean   he   has   all   the   answers   .   He   doesn't   .   Some   of   the   things   he's   forgotten   over   time   have   become   easier   to   avoid   bringing   forward   than   to   sit   with   for   god   know   how   long   it   has   been   since   entering   the   belly   of   the   beast   .

He   situates   himself   onto   a   pillow   ,   the   fort's   keeps   him   sheltered   from   the   light   &&   central   with   strands   of   thought   now   unshackled   in   his   mind   .   Head   turns   in   the   ringmaster's   direction   but   hesitates   .

While not completely engulfed in darkness, I think Kinger would be just lucid enough to tell Ragatha a bunch of cool facts about fireflies. Things he learned from listening to Queenie.

My loser butt would absolutely love to have Kinger as the creator of the game but they won’t ever give me that I’m not even delusional enough to have expressed that here until just now . I’ll settle for a higher up in the company that made it or a play tester / patcher but ep 3 for me has probably some of the most possibly lore revealing dialogue that it feels people have just forgotten about one of the biggest ones is Kinger saying he’s sorry that he led himself and Pomni down this path but he isn’t even looking at her when he says it I think it might be more than just the bad path in the adventure he was talking about

A small checkmates because today was a great day

𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑   𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐃   ,   after   a   while   he   seems   to   naturally   drift   towards   Gangle   .   The   two   sitting   together   wasn't   unheard   of   actually   he   doesn't   mind   just   being   present   while   she   works   on   her   art   .   A   usually   quiet   exchange   .   He   moves   to   sit   down   ,   like   a   phantom   ,   or   perhaps   she   was   too   swept   up   in   her   sketching   to   notice   him   looking   over   her   would-be-shoulder   .   He   started   to   gesture   towards   it   before   the   book   was   cast   airborne   &&   the   pencil   clattered   to   the   floor   . 

The   shapes   on   the   page    had   made-up   a   familiar   form   .   A   chess   piece   he   knows   its   his   visage   ;   nonetheless   seeing   yourself   as   you   are   in   this   game   even   after   so   many   years   was   always   a   surprise   .   He   had   managed   a   look   before   she   started   flailing   about   at   least   .

♔.*    ― ❝  Is   that   me   ?  ❞   He   seems   unphased   by   her   panic   or   somehow   as   though   he   hadn't   noticed   the   reaction   at   all   .   One   eye   blinking   out   of   sync   with   the   other   .

There she sat in the corner as everyone seemed to be doing their own thing, scribbling at her sketchpad...today was different though, she found a muse, one who not everyone would take the the time to draw. Kinger seemed to have caught her attention today, even as it was a light sketch of what he had been doing, she found the delusional king to be a perfect muse for practicing shapes and a slight abstract design.

Gangle allowed her pencil to sketch away at her book, glancing up every now and then to get the right details, humming ever so slightly to herself. However, she didn't expect to be caught red handed, looking up from her book again only to catch the chess piece staring right at her. She was quick to drop everything from her hands, the sketch book flying to the floor while her pencil rolled away. Her mask had the face of guilt and fear as she went to try and grab her book before Kinger could even see anything.

He   raises   his   cylindrical   head   ,   mere   moments   ago   it   had   been   hanging   off   of   the   edge   of   the   couch   ,   his   awkwardly   lofty   body   draped.   He's   pulling   himself   back   up   ,   righting   himself   to   sitting   .
