No let me cook! I think bisexuals would be able to have 2 potential mating bonds across sexes so Elain and Mor could actually be a potential mated bond in the same way Elain and Lucien are!! To me, It makes a cliche love triangle plot more interesting and eliminates any cheating implications, by eliminating the Azriel complication and having the exploration of 2 mating bonds totally cannon and above board in the lore! The book is about her explore both connections (Maybe a bisexual who has 2 potential mates across the sexes is allowed to explore both for a time, cumulating to a choosing ceremony!) and also just about a very traditional girl kind of having her world open up! (Sarah should def work with a queer woman to help her with the smut aspects of the mor x elain interactions)! Also not for nothing, I’ve been annoyed about Mor for quite some time now, because why did Sarah introduce a gay character, just to have her be a token?? I think If Sarah is REALLY about it, she could do the Az x Eris ship and make acotar 6 the gayest book of her entire universe….she could also just do the obvious Az x Gwen ship that everyone clearly expects if Az x elain doesn’t happen! I think Az has yearned enough! I want him to just be with someone who wants him off rip!

You know what I know the ACOTAR series and the Sarah J. Maas universe is kinda lowbrow fantasy smut but I will always ride for it for a few reasons,

1. Being decently well written (some, SOME of the dialogue is cringe, but she does paint a picture with words in a way very few people can! In the smut yes, but also just in general! Clothing, battles, locations etc! I can see them extremely clearly in my head and some fantasy writers can’t do that for shit, even the ones who are revered as great writers)

2. Having one of the most successful subversion of expectations of a character for me ever! And that’s for both rhys and Tamlin!

3. NOT GIVING ME YET ANOTHER STUPID FUCKING LOVE TRIANGLE (Though Im pretty sure the new book centred on Elaine will be just that 🫩)

4. Gagging me with that fucking crossover (I did not like how the Velaris plot was handled in house of flame and shadow but bitch the end of house of sky and breath had me GAGGED!)

5. Decent politics and world building! I know it’s not amazingly intricate or gripping but it’s coherent (for the most part, I find the cauldron mechanics to be flimsy at best) and decently interesting! I’m more in it for the romance (I read actual irl political books for politics lol) but I do like the world building is mostly sound (not perfect)!

I’ve finally figured out why love island fans love a swirl! I mean some people are just interracial love enthusiasts and that’s just the truth lmao but also I think a larger % love seeing a reversal of the disposable black girlfriend trope! Of all the rigged lipsyncs, BY FAR to me the most egregious is ginger vs Kerri! Kerri TORE! She absolutely embodied the song, was emotive both in her facial expressions and her body movements! Even when she took off the coat it was on beat like she killed that! She killed it so much that I think it was enough to overcome a bad track record against a front runner! Like even with the editing tricks she Ate! A whole scam!
