So I was casually reading book 4 and I made it to the part where Kurda took Darren into the Hall of Death and his explanation on how executions worked when I remembered something Traitors are executed with their backs to the stakes. Larten fell into the pit of stakes on his back. LARTEN DIED LIKE A TRAITOR - WITH THE DISHONOR OF BEING STABBED IN THE BACK

Inktober 28, 29, 30 - Cirque Du Freak - Darren Shan, Mr. Crepsley, Evra Von, Harkat Mulds

Probably one of the only vampire stories that I ever enjoyed reading. Not really a fan of horror, but I was introduced to this book series by my summer school teacher in 6th grade. He read out loud the first two books and then I was hooked. Unfortunately I never finished the series, but I would say my favorite books were book 2 and 3. I really enjoyed Darren’s character development in that part of the story.
