Okay I am not going to do Narans route after I got spoiled and realized that Suren dies. I can’t have my trash man die on me. I completed all of the other routes though overall it was a good game Nohl is probably my favorite though it is really close call with Suren. I just like how Nohl is more of a sophisticated subtle trash and not the really violent in your face type that Yang and Suren are. The way he likes trolling you is hilarious.

I like Nohl, while Suren is pure stinking trash, Nohl is more subtle version of trash like a recycling bin if you will.

Question: why does Nohl have a giant dildo for a paperweight on his desk? Has Esta ever asked Nohl “Gee boss, why do you have a giant honking dildo on your desk?”

I must say, even the censored version of Crimson Flower has a lot of spice to it still and it is still worth playing. I did do the Gavin De Becker and Associates MOSAIC test on Suren and he only scored a 149 out of 200 with a risk factor of 8 out of 10. I also did Yang from Piofiore and Tomomori from Birushana and they scored 180 and 153 respectively. I am guessing it is because Tomomori stalks while Suren doesn’t which is a huge factor as to why he scores slightly higher also Lilli compared to the other heroines appears more afraid of Yang at least initially than the other two which it probably factors in (they both have fighting experience after all). Though interestingly both Suren and Tomomori both get points for being in the military that Yang doesn’t since it has that as a huge factor for domestic violence.
But seriously I encourage you to test all of your trash husbandos with this test it is fun

Just started playing Crimson Flower and damn Suren makes Yang from Piofiore look like an emotionally mature and stable man in comparison.

One of the Otome games I refuse to play is Virche Evermore because I don’t like playing all the bad endings to unlock the good ones mostly because I don’t like bad endings and potentially becoming a crying mess. What sealed it for me is the fact that the disease curse thing which makes people live until 23 is literally due to you losing a chromosome every year. THAT IS NOT HOW IT WORKS! Seriously you would be dead waaay before then and intellectually disabled and you couldn’t reproduce either. I can’t take the game seriously now. At least have a character with a condition where they have extra chromosomes for some disability representation but no.

Harumi’s route is a pleasant surprise. The writers definitely got autistic masking down great which of course having an autism coded character in a game that mostly involves scenarios where you pretend to be lovers it seems like such a great choice. People keep saying his good route is better than the true ending is that true? I normally just play the true endings of routes but I might make an exception if enough people convince me (I don’t mind spoilers)

I got the My Next Life as a Villainess game with some of my gift card money for taking a survey about autism which includes some new assessment tools that take into account masking (like being able to say this was true when you were younger before you learned social skills and how to act that way as well as burn out among other things which I think is SUPER good)
Anyways I must confess I have never read the series mostly because I know that otome isekais rarely work like real otome games in that if there is a villainess she is usually a significantly older woman but it is mostly dudes that are villains with bonus points if you can date them. However I was told that this otome game can be enjoyed by people who never read the series and just like otome games and my husband said I should pick it up when I asked him whether or not I should get this or Sympathy Kiss with my gift card. I want to play Crimson Flower before I play this game though so it will be a while but yeah my question is:
Are the reviews I read true in that you don’t have to be a fan of the series (obviously you shouldn’t outright hate the series) to enjoy this game?

After Butterfly Poison I am playing Lover Pretend for a change of pace. The pretend modes are alright but the fact they are timed make me nervous like I constantly have the guide next to me so I don’t fuck it up however with that said it is MUCH better than trigger mode fuck trigger mode it ruined CollarxPoison for me, but I love Kazuma so far. I love my hyperactive redheads and he reminds me of Impey and how much I loved him in Code Realize

Yeah I wouldn’t be surprised if he was an avatar of Yoba or something. He does give me trickster god vibes.
Tumblr media
Mr Qi gives me the vibe of an eldritch being that is not bound by the laws of our reality, but chooses to abide by them anyways. And if you've read my comic, you can probably guess I can't resist that kind of thing.

When people ask me as an autistic woman what autistic women like I usually say Otome games (or just romance visual novels with the female gaze in general) I am on an Otome game Discord and I can’t even think of a regular there who is NOT neurodivergent in some form or the other. I don’t know why. Maybe because it tends to be more linear than real life romance?

This! Holy shit! I can’t understand these speed runners. Do they seriously think it is fun? If I set too many goals in my Stardew game at once I get stressed.
y'all missing the whole point of stardew valley. it's supposed to be slow paced. you're a farmer. crops do now grow instantly and you wont be making millions in a season. enjoy the fucking game, take your fucking time. take days off to just forage and talk to people. aren't yall tired of the grind from real life??? do you want to experience burnout in a farming game too??????

I am shifting hobbies again and this time I am playing some of my Otome games. In this case Butterfly Poison since I love historical romance. I notice the more I play otome games the pickier I become like I could not stand Bustafellows the common route was too long and the romance seemed like an afterthought and the fast forward feature was slooooooow. Unfortunately I didn’t save when playing Radiant Tale so my progress is lost and I need to take a break from it until it is fresh again to try to start over.
