FAQ

Q: what tablet do you use? A: Wacom Intuos, given to me by a friend and without it I wouldn’t have been able to further my art abilities and get where i am now so thanks babe ;p

Q what art program do you use? A: Gimp/GNU 2.8 ((its free and a lot more user friendly/simple even if the company isn’t all that great, and it uses paths/line smoother which is great for my shaky af hands lol))

Q: do you do commissions? A: yep, and you can see my commissions here on my blog or with the commissions tag

Q: I like your stuff, but dont want to get a commission, is there another way I can support your work? A: hell yea! in general I love likes/reblogs to spread my work, but if you a real mvp you can buy me a coffee! I also have a patreon, it’s super chill and lowkey right now, but the discounts on it are really good :D

Q: why so many icons? and also, can i– A: because i love supporting new series by flooding the tags with fun new icons for people to use, and yes, you can use any icons or cropped photos that arent commissions, just credit me and dont be an asshole when using them or I’ll ask you to not use my icons anymore (go here to see a full list of all the icons ive ever made!)

Q: I asked you a thing a while ago, but you haven’t responded, u good? A:  absolutely! i like to declutter my blog so i’ll answer an ask and then usually delete it after a day or two if its not important info (though just know that i appreciate all asks that are about how much yall love my art <3), sorry if you didnt see it on time, and then of course tumblr sometimes eats asks and i never see them in the first place so [shrugs]

Q: Do you post regularly/can I expect a lot of content from your blog? A: I post semi-frequently! When I get inspired I can post back to back or day to day, but for the most part I’m pretty busy with general life. in general i try to do maybe one or two sketches a month, but recently ive just been drawing on any off time i have and posting sketches and comics as i feel like it :D

Q: I love your art, but dont have money, do you do requests? A: im a bit half and half lmao, if you send in an ask that inspires me, i might draw or write something for it, but usually i dont just see a “draw wheelceptor!” and go “as you command, my lord” and draw like tumblr is waiting right behind me with a metal bat lmao

Q: will you ever sell merch or do a booth at a con? A: doing a booth at a con? probably never. but making merch? hell yes. i used to have a transformers based redbubble, but ive found that redbubble as a company doesnt really support my own interests that much. I sill have a couple things on redbubble but its not an amazing amount. In the future though, I might have my friends make merch of my art and sell that stuff for me so people can have physical shows of my art, but if I do, I’ll be saying which friends/which con the merch will be at. until then, treat all physical art of mine as if its stolen because it probably has been...

Q: your stance on AI art? A: i think that AI is a tool - like any tool, it can be used for good, or for evil. I think the tech itself isn’t evil, and I think in some applications, and with ethical training, it can be even be a fun/interesting thing to use. I also think that disabled artists who train AI programs on their own art have a right to “make art” that means something to them without getting lumped into the “idiot cryptocurrency NFT” crowd. that being said, i think its disgusting behaviour when someone trains a model on someone else’s art without permission. theres some nuance to my opinion that i dont feel like getting into right now, but in general I hate the idea that people’s artistic works are being, essentially, plagerized, and I especially hate it when people who train AIs using art that ISNT THEIRS then turn around and claim that they “made [this]” themself. and on that note...

Q: can I use any of your work to make NFTs or train AIs? A: no.and I will also file DMCA claims if i find out you do.

Q: Are there any important tags for your blog? A: yes, ive got a couple - and i’ll list out the most important ones real quick:

I try to de-clutter as much as possible whenever possible, so when I post a text/ask I only leave it a few days unless its integral to understanding my blog/content, hopefully long enough for the person who asked to see it, then delete it, it just saves room for more art stuff
