love to see morty really starting to assert himself and make his opinions known. also he really does seem to be a natural leader, always ending up in these positions of leadership for the oppressed (i.e. one true morty, etc) even though they all turned on him here lmao
doug and karen were so wholesome lmao i love the outfit they gave to rick. and they treat him sooo kindly! <3 such sweet parents
morty beating the fuck out of rick was so funny, i can't. "your son sucks!!!" i dieddddd
it's back to classic rick to just let morty be shit on while he lives it up lmao
"was jimmy a monkey?" im crying lmao please
"we thought jimmy'd grown into a thoughful, kind man" "they were nice so i was nice back" MY HEART ugh. you just know rick's parents weren't good to him so this had to feel good and healing for him on some level <3
the visuals this ep were soooo pretty! in love!
"YOU DON'T DESERVE KAREN AND DOUG" AWEEEE <333
jimmy saying "you can't hit me i'm a kid" to rick and then morty iMMEDIATELY punching him in the face i cannot lmao
and "i can't hit you you're old!" lmao that was great
"but i am family and you did choose me" oh stopppp itttttt
I LOVED THIS EP SO MUCH <3333

"they were nice to me, so I was nice back!" is kinda implying to me that his parents were 100% dickheads who treated him like shit and he most likely dished it back to them. and then it became a part of his personality 24/7 to be a dick

i love when rick crouches down or gets on one knee to talk to morty on his level. like the little hand on the shoulder? it’s really sweet. it’s not even something you have to wait to see in later seasons after character development. he does it in the pilot, yo.

it's so weird to think we're JUST NOW seeing jerry four episodes into this season! honestly soooo happy to see him and the family together again cause we haven't seen them all interact all season
it's just so jerry to be obsessed with a random holiday and try unsuccessfully to get his family to come together to celebrate
my one real gripe for this episode is the gross humor like jerry's excessive vomiting and how he changed into the werebunny lolol
the family turning to rick every time anything happens cause they know he can figure it out in 5 seconds flat is always great lmao
seeing our rick and morty go on a classic zany adventure in a wacky place and be their bickering selves was amazing! we haven't gotten enough of their dynamic (yet) this season and i loveddd it <333
morty was so cute running around with the big egg omg
beth actually being able to get through to werebunny jerry awe <3
the complete chaos over everyone switching off becoming the werebunny and the giant pile of humans fucking outside i cant lmao
them telling the guy who helped them to just GET OFF THEIR LAWN instead of helping him, normal Smith/Sanchez family activities
summer being at spring break for the entire year im screaming lmfao
this one was so much fun! i loved it!

this was literally my favorite part of the entire episode omg
LOVE THE NEW EPISODE AND LOVE SEEING RICK AND MORTY ARGUE LIKE LITTLE KIDS:
"You're old!"
"You're old! Fuck you Morty!"
"Fuck you Rick!"
"You're old and gay!"

I love how it’s now canon that regular ricks actually give a shit about mortys now.
they made clones of themselves who don’t have that attachment thinking it’s weakness but that attachment makes them different enough to be superior to clones in someway.
c137 is different because he doesn’t have a morty to cause that attachment to happen. he’s an anomaly of empathy.

It's a bit random, but for some reason, I loved hearing Vivaldi's "Winter" in Ep. 4 of R&M. I dunno if it was deliberately ironic to use the piece Winter on their part, or if they used it just because it slaps. Either way, I was overjoyed! :D
