Rules

Below are the rules you must abide by if you plan to join City in Motion. Please read all of the information carefully. Failure to do so will result in your application being incomplete and you will have to resubmit it for approval.

Activity & Writing - -

We are a multi-para group, which means the starters/replies that you send must be at least 3 paragraphs long, containing at least 6 sentences each. If you have owes longer than a month long, you will be considered inactive and your role will be terminated.

Connections are a MUST. You are required to have at least five connections going at all times. Owes lists must be displayed on your page or in your blog and appropriately linked somewhere. Your owes lists must be properly updated as you work on your debts.

A group cannot function if no one is active. In City in Motion, you must prove you want to be here by being active and loyal to the group. If you have not logged onto your profile in five days, you will be cut from the group. Should you need a hiatus or have other things going on, please message us so that we are aware, otherwise, your spot will become available.

Auditions & Characters - -

City in Motion is a create-your-own character roleplay group. When auditioning, please make sure you are filling out the audition form in its entirety, and being as specific as possible about your character. The information you provide goes on the Tumblr, and it is accessible for all members to see.

Because people want to expand their characters, marriages/children are allowed in the group. However, you and your significant other must wait one-month real time before getting engaged/married, and adding a pregnancy. If you audition with a child or marriage already in your storyline, you may keep it. If you were dating someone outside of this group, you will still have to wait two months before proposing, as there is no way for us to verify your relationship.

Character changes are allowed once you join, but we request that it is not changed frequently.  Bryana is a cool, but her favorite phrase is "Love and kindness is never wasted." We look at character changes as an incentive, and if you wish to make changes, complete the required activity check before submitting your requests.

Profiles & Communication - -

One profile in this group per person, please. There is no need to have two. If you want to change roles (i.e. change your character completely), you will need to contact the admins for approval.

Neat profiles are a must, with content filled in, and updated frequently. A layout needs to be on your page with all boxes filled in within a week of being accepted.

We are seeking literate members. We want members who are going to put effort into their storylines and connections. Talking is a two-way street, and you need to put effort into communicating and getting to know your fellow members. Don't just 'go for the ride' - add your own spin on the storylines and connections that you are discussing. The point of roleplay is to be creative, so take an active role in your character's life and add some drama to it.

Respect & Drama - -

The admins speak from experience when we say respect goes a long way. Please keep in mind that this is roleplay and nothing should be taken to heart. If you feel that a member is personally attacking you out of character, please bring it to our attention immediately instead of taking matters into your own hands. If you read up to this point, comment the blog with a gif of your favorite band/singer. We do not tolerate disrespect, so please act your age.

Drama in storylines is highly encouraged, yet it should not branch out into your real life. Do not try to start something out of character, because that kind of behavior will not be tolerated. If you need help with dramatic storyline ideas, please ask us and we will be more than happy to assist you. However, if there is an offense that you deliberately caused drama with someone else, and proof is provided, you will be cut from the group, no questions asked.

We would like you to meet Aubree McClure, a twenty-five [25] year old. She is previously from San Deigo, Ca. She currently resides in the Pacific Beach neighborhood and is a club owner. She’s been told she could pass as the twin of undisclosed, and fortunately for us, this role is closed.

Aubree is described to be loving but stubborn. She’s also known for her warm and bitchy nature.
