MultiVersus officially shuts down today. Never really got around to actually playing it but I was made aware recently of one of the fighters exclusive to MultiVersus: Reindog. Given that MultiVersus is shutting down, I guess that means that Reindog is dead. RIP.

So last night, I kept thinking about the initial concept of MLP G6 so I had the idea to make my own. So here are the main 6 of my interpretation of G6. For these characters, I based them off ponies from the first three generations. Info about them is under the cut.

Astra Spectacle - an introverted bookworm with a interest to astrology. Based off of Glory from generation 1.

Berry Tart - a pony from the countryside who moved to the city in order to open up her own bakery. Based on Sweet Berry from generation 2.

Color Splash - an perfectionistic artist with a passion for her craft. Based on Toola Roola from generation 3.

Songbird Serenade - a pegasus with dreams of being a famous singer. Based on Starsong from generation 3.

Stitchwork Shine - a pony with a talent for crafting but is very insecure about and doesn't believes that she has it. Based on Bow Tie from generation 1.

Sundancer - a pegasus who loves to dance and staying fit. Based on Sundance from generation 2.

I've been meaning to post this but a while back, I came up with a bunch of redesigns for a more reimagined MLP G5.

1-6: Redesigned versions of the mane 6. As you can see, I tried to give each of them a distinct color so they would stand out to each other.

7: A redesign of Sparky so they would look more like a dragon from G4 since G5 is meant to a continuation of G4.

7-9: Redesigns of some of the G5 antagonists. Most notably making Allura more sphynx like and making Opaline's color palette less bold.

10-14: Finally some designs of parents of G5's characters. First is Sap Cloverleaf, who supposed to be Sprout's dad as well as the previous sheriff of Maretime Bay. Very racist. Next are Indigo Moonbeam and Violet Galaxy Swirl, parents of Izzy Moonbow. Finally, there's Argyle Starshine and Starshine Glow, parents of Sunny Starscout. I liked the idea of Sunny's mom being a unicorn.

Oynx Pie is the only son of Igneous Rock Pie and Cloudy Quartz, being born after Limestone Pie. As a colt, Oynx developed a huge love for baking from both his mother as well as from his Granny Pie. After earning his cutie mark, his parents ultimately decided to enroll Oynx in a cooking school, where he would improve upon his talents. He currently lives in Manehattan where he runs a successful and very popular bakery.

I know most people don't care much for Pony Life, but the one thing I remember them doing is giving Pinkie Pie a brother, Octavio Pie. Decided to make my own redesign of him which included making him look a little less like a male version of Marble Pie.

Obsidian Mina Pie is the eldest daughter of Igneous Rock Pie and Cloudy Quartz. As a filly, Obsidian was very curious to a morbid degree. Obsidian was especially interested in how the body worked, often examining the bodies of dead insects and small animals and taking notes. This behavior concerned her parents, not only because of the potential harm to Obsidian's younger sisters but also because of how their community would treat her.

Igneous Rock and Cloudy Quartz were Plain Ponies, a community of ponies who dedicated their lives to living the lifestyle of the ancient pony clans prior to Celestia and Luna's rule. Much like the real-life amish, the Plain Ponies were also known to be very religious. Igneous Rock and Quartz, while they loved their daughter, were afraid of having her be seen by their community as a child of Discord: a pony brought into the world to sew Chaos.

Not sure what else to do, they opt to send Obsidian to a hospital in order to get her help. They elect to send her to the hospital in Ponyville as they have family there (Chiffon Swirl is Cloudy's sister where as Mayor Mare is Igneous' sister).

Obsidian has spent most of her childhood in this hospital, where she was tended to by a nurse. Through medication and therapy, she has slowly gotten better while still maintaining her curiosity about the world.

So, remember Muffins? That fan sequel saga of cupcakes? While I was all that big into MLP creepypastas despite being exposed to it, I did like the character of Obsidian Pie aka Minkie Pie. I'm not a fan of the story she comes from or how she's characterized so I came up with my own version. I took huge inspirations from GhostlyKittyCat's version of Obsidian as well as Rainbott's version of the character from their reimagining of Muffins. The concept of the Plain Ponies also comes from Lopoddity and the concept of the children of Discord also coming from Rainbott's reimagining. Also her name's not Minkie here, that's kind of dumb.

Minkie Pie was made by Reitanna-Seishin.
