@staff can you please give me an explanation as to why @true-north-equestrian, my sideblog purely dedicated to posting images depicting Sims 4 horses, was nuked? A year and a half of images & stories are now gone for no discernible reason, which is incredibly disappointing and frustrating.

Debunking Accusations

Hi everyone - I wanted to take a moment to address a situation that has come up regarding my recent release. A creator is claiming that I have stolen their mesh and that it is the same as my stone wash bay divider. There are a few points I want to go through so bear with me.

First off - here was my inspiration for the stone wash bays and my first wip:

And here is my browser history recording when I first looked at the page the inspo photo is from:

My WIP is dated April 16th. According to the timeline posted by the creator's mother (see below) this was DAYS before someone joined to purchase the mesh.

The next section is comparing the meshes. I was given the WHES mesh by an anonymous source just today in order to defend myself as their object is behind a paywall.

My object is on the left and the other is on the right. As you can see, there are significant differences in the overall form and the smaller details.

Here are the meshes side by side. The differences are apparent. The creator's mother has claimed that I edited the second mesh to create the first one, but this would, quite frankly, have not been worth the effort over creating it from scratch as I did.

Finally, here are the object definitions. I don't know who SimHaus Studios is but as you can see, these are two unique files.

She is saying that I haven't reached out to her. I have. I reached out to her and her mother as I saw their posts. Both sent responses amounting to "we don't want to talk" and then blocked me. I to this day don't have either of them blocked.

These individuals continue to lump this accusation in with completely separate issues they have with a Sims 4 discord server they are banned from also due to harassing behavior.

I can't control the dozens of alts they make to work around being banned to access my content, but I do have the right to remove harassing comments from my pages. Some examples of these comments: (TW- swearing)

It's exhausting to deal with the flood of alt accounts and trolls sent to harass me. I don't know why they all like drama so much. The only thing that has helped me deal with it was the equal outpouring of support for me and my work. It touches me more than I can possibly express.

The Process of Creating a Mesh - a little behind the scenes

A little window into the creative process ~ starting with some inspiration!

Let's focus in on one in particular:

First we start with creating a mesh - I use blender as it's what is compatible with the Sims 4.

Please note that this wip is timestamped on the 16th of April.

Next comes the basic mesh ~ uv unwrapped and baked to give a smooth texture base.

The first pass at final texturing! As you can see the uv's need to be re-done a bit so the textures line up better, but we're close to the final product!

Okay but why would a prominent member of the ts4 cc community and experienced 3D modeller steal the mesh of a total beginner and- *checks notes* ... Use an alt account to pay real money to access a paywalled mesh, 'blow up' the mesh to 'hide the evidence', 'refine it', remap the UVs completely and add new textures, spending hours making a single 'rustic' mesh look polished... when it would take less time to simply make a new mesh from scratch?

The obvious and most parsimonious answer is 'sometimes two people use the same reference material unknowingly', and that doesn't constitute theft.

hey! how do you apply the breed templates to ts4? I tried putting them in my mods folder, unzipping them with another app, and putting them in my tray folder but nothing worked. They're gorgeous models and I'd love to used them in my worlds!! Thanks!

Hi! To put my templates into your game: 1. Unzip the folder 2. Copy and paste the TRAY FILES (the files with a bunch of random numbers and letters) to your TRAY FOLDER (Documents -> EA -> Sims 4 -> Tray) 3. In CAS, go to the GALLERY, and then YOUR LIBRARY, make sure you have 'show households with custom content' enabled, and then search for the breed name. The template should then come up, because you put the tray files into your tray folder, from which your game pulls all the info for your library <3

This is a 40x30 covered arena I whipped up on a whim when taking a break from my latest WIP XC course. It is affectionately named after my favorite time traveler, because no one on TES stopped me. I imagine this could work well as a Western show lot.

i got mauled by a midterm and didn't get around to fixing the links for WalnutHill's sliders on my templates. For now, here is a link to all publicly available Walnut Hill cc, including sliders & body overrides. Please not that all my templates are built on V3 of the Body & Head override, while only V1&V2 are included in the folder. I'm going to find out if V3 will be made available in the future.

May I please request an EA Fit Version of the english and western endurance saddle pads?

I'll put it on my to-do list, but I can make no promises about how fast it will get done. Adjusting saddle pad swatches is a bit tedious. tbh since I only play with Realistic Fit, I don't really make stuff for EA Fit. I'm very sorry, nonny!

Warning for discord members

I am putting out this warning regarding TES (The Equestrian Sims) discord server. This server claims to be a safe, helpful, friendly environment; however, this is far from the reality. If you value your safety, I would stay far away from this server. I can provide proof of a discussion showing they violated privacy and performed illegal actions of recording conversations without permission. They also allow people to indirectly tell others to "off" themselves. They are biased against people and if they do not like you, you will be targeted and bullied. I am not going to post the proof here unless it is asked for.

CK's American Paint Horse Template (v.1)

Very similar to my AQH template; the APH is very closely related (honestly, due to the level of interbreeding, they're pretty much the same breed) but I tried to make this template a little more gracile.

Unlike my AQH template, I didn't include different uphill & downhill versions, because I am lazy
