The letter was crumpled in her hand, tear stains potting it in a few places. It shouldn’t have surprised her that she received the rejection letter, yet it still stung. A lot. The young wife found herself moaning and arching into his mouth, shuddering at the feeling. She had forgotten what this felt like, to have her husband touch her and caress her like this, coaxing noises out of her in ways only he could.  Noises she only ever made for him. As his mouth moved lower, her body arched up into the touches automatically, making her realize how much she missed this. Groaning, her hands found his hair tangling themselves into the locks, subconsciously using her new grip to pull his mouth closer to her, shuddering slightly as her mind reminded her of what all he could do with his tongue. “I love you so so so much, Jack.”

“You came from a large family too? Before I married Jackson it was just my father and my sister so marrying into the Adam clan was...exciting to say the least.” She giggled softly. “No, he deserves it. I forget what he did but he deserves it.”

“Well, I’m glad he has you and Jackson. Everyone should have some family. Like I told him, I couldn’t imagine having my large, dysfunctional family gone. They mean the world to me,” he said. “I’m fine really, you don’t have to hurt or anything on my behalf.”

“Yeah, it’s just us three now, which is good because Jack and Lexy were the closest...Lexy wouldn’t lie, if he felt bad then he would tell you. I’m sorry though he was a jerk though. Don’t worry I’ll cup his ear for you.”

“He said most of his family was dead, but one brother. I’m assuming that’s Jackson if you’re married to him.” He shoved his hands into his pockets and shrugged. “I’m getting over it. He’s seemed apologetic when I talked to him, but I’m not expecting anything to come out of that.”

“He has five. Jackson, my husband, Thomas, Jeremiah, Harrison, Andrew and there was there little sister Leah.” She said counting each off on her hands. “Wait....he did? That doesn’t sound like him but then again hes been a bit off lately...”

“Brother-in-law? Oh, yeah, he did mention a brother.” Tris frowned for a moment. “He took me out for drinks a few weeks ago. I would say it went well but apparently he’s completely forgotten it ever happened.”
