Any Javi headcanons?

javi martinez headcanons! 🦆

⌗ had a stuffed animal that he carried around with him everywhere until he was ten years old. he brought it to every single place imaginable; the park, the zoo, his abuelas house, school. it was like a good luck charm to him. he brought it on the plane but it got lost during the crash

⌗ big fan of video games in general but he would always beg travis to play street fighter with him because he would let him win (sometimes). mains chun li because i said so

⌗ begged his parents to get a dog for a month straight and when they did, he hated it so much that they took it back to the shelter

⌗ really good at math and other number subjects. he failed a quiz once and teared up at his desk

⌗ great at woodwork, too. would make his mom little trinkets during class and saves them up for a special occasion

⌗ canonically (in the og script) followed shauna around everywhere after the crash and probably got told every detail about shauna & jackie’s friendship. he was ITCHING to tell anyone literally anything but swore under oath

⌗ couldn’t ride a bike for the longest time and kept falling off. once he finally learned how to, his parents bought him a leisure bike with a basket, rather than a mountain bike. he fell off and refused to ride it again

⌗ his favourite snacks are pretzels and his favourite flavour of gum is spearmint, but he’s partial to some hubba bubba.

⌗ choir kid 100% was the only boy in his grade in choir and travis teased him for it for months. probably an alto

⌗ he hates being late. every time the school bus doesn’t show up on time he starts to get anxious. he was late to school one time and was so embarrassed he just skipped the whole day. would rather die than be late

⌗ found his dads electric razor and gave himself a bald spot. he went to travis for help but was absolutely ridiculed instead

⌗ dressed up as a tiger multiple years in a row for halloween. the sleeves were too short, as well as the ankles, but his mom said it’d be fine.

⌗ prefers apple juice over orange juice

⌗ definitely has a nut allergy. i’m thinking almonds… he wanted to try marzipan so bad and asked for marzipan toppings on his birthday cake one year. was really disappointed when it was just a chocolate cake

⌗ likes all of the music that travis likes because he wants him to think he’s cool. he thinks travis is a poser

⌗ resting merp face. i think that’s self explanatory

⌗ all of his older cousins adore him. he’s one of the youngest in his family, but they let him hang out with them because he’s a “good kid” and won’t narc them out

⌗ loves sour candy. he was delighted when war heads came to the states

⌗ became close with laura lee after the crash. asked her a ton of existential questions relating to god. she was so glad SOMEONE finally asked her

⌗ probably owned a “save ferris” shirt at one point

⌗ ABUSES slang but in an ironic and mocking way. he finds it hilarious

⌗ during the holidays, alcoholic bonbons were his biggest enemy. going about his business, and he finds a lovely wrapped chocolate. WRONG. “this tastes like hand sanitizer. what the hell.”
