well here we are. I'm writing again (this time for good, I hope)

Even though the anon didn’t specify the season, I think they were talking about HSL, thus I’ll be considering it for this.

Castiel

It was an organic growth. In the first episodes, he saw you as that new student who couldn’t help herself around school and always had her nose far too buried in other students’ lives for her own good. As time passed, you started to grow on him and you two became good friends.

An important turning point on your relationship was that big fight you had during his arc. It was then that he first noticed the importance you had in his life and how much he was taking that for granted.

Between his and Nathaniel’s arc was when I think he started noticing that he had created feelings for you. However, it was only around the picnic episode that Castiel thought, hey, maybe she does like me back.

Nathaniel

I’m pretty sure Nath admitted his feelings to himself a bit earlier than Castiel. Maybe around episode 18 and 21 (during the play I’m certain he already knew he liked you).

His flirting was more shy and subtle before his arc, but when he had that transformation after episode 23, he was more straightforward about how he wanted to spend time with you.

Again, he didn’t know if you felt the same until you started making moves and hanging out alone with him. After episode 26, for example, he had high hopes that you liked him too.

Armin

Armin was a bit blunt when it came to romance, the proof being that he had no idea that you liked him until the scene when he kissed you. He fell for you between episodes 18 and 24, but whenever you two had a flirty interaction he was like: there’s no way she loves me, so I’ll just continue flirting as a joke, right?

….Right?

Yeah, no, because you actually loved him. And that caught him so off guard that the news took time to be digested.

We stan a memester dude who’s slow at acknowledging others feelings.

Kentin

Come on, Kentin always liked you, that’s clear since the first episode. I don’t think I have to answer this one lmao

Lysander

As for Lys… He always admired you as a whole. You were so kind and held genuine interest for your friends. Whenever he lost his precious notebook, guess who was there every single time to return it to the owner?

But he took time to sort out that it wasn’t just any affection and admiration. When he figured out that his feelings were more than platonic, near episode 24, he saw you with even more love than before. He thought his feelings were clear to you, but in episode 28 he was surprised to see that you didn’t seem to have acknowledged them. That was when he took action and kissed you.
