At little man’s hockey tournament last week, there was a @homesensecanada right next to one of the rinks. Naturally, I requested to head over to check it out during our 5 hours break between games 😏. You never know what you’d find until you check it out! And am I glad we did! I’ve always been looking for a mirror for our #vanity nook here (I used to bring over my bathroom here when I took a photo 😏). This mirror had the red clearance sticker on. Usually that would mean the mirror has a crack on it, but I checked this one out of curiosity… and it didn’t! Only the lower frame was scratched but if it’s just leaning like this then it doesn’t matter 😃😃 So it was a no brainer for me to drag the Mr. over to check it out (ie. let’s get it!). First, happy 2nd birthday to my favourite hashtag #thursdaytrays! I think I stumbled upon the hashtag almost 2 years ago, and who knew I would get to know some of the most amazing IG ladies just by dressing up my trays? And was I glad to know it wasn't abnormal to love trays so much. C'mon, you can never have enough trays! Finally took out the new perfume set that the Mr. got me for Christmas. Happy New Year! Wishing you all the best in 2018! We’re starting the new year with this #DIYunit in our #basement #familyroom. The Mr. still needs to finish painting the top part of the unit + coat of minwax. This isn’t the best photo but I’m loving this new #furniturelayout. The TV is across from the sofa, but it’s unsightly 😞(you can see it in my story). We still need to unpack all the stuff from previous home’s office into this cabinet… they’re all piled up in boxes behind where I stood to take this photo. (Check out the DIY unit of old Home office in my stories). Then comes the fun part of accessorizing… will eventually get a new media unit and definitely need a rug. I’m happy to report that I finally got the #christmastree up! And today’s #happymail made my day better in this gloomy weather! I received this cute planter from @structube! I spent some time over the weekend to organize my basement storage, and I could finally get to our Christmas decorations! I mentioned in the last post that our theme last year was mixed metals, and I want to add some colour to this year's for contrast. My collection of @tiffanyandco boxes is my additional colour inspiration 😊 I remembered I had these Tiffany blue ornaments in storage when I saw these boxes in my drawer one day, et voila!
