Sometimes when I walk around the city, there is so much change, I can’t imagine how we’ll all keep up. But we do, somehow. This photo epitomizes the combining of old and new… “the steadfast recognizability of the past coupled with the exciting re-imagining of the future.” Oh, gross. I got that off a client’s promo flyer for a real-estate deal that fell through. Anyway, I like this shot because it does, indeed, show the past, the present and ideas for the future. I wish we could hold on to the past a bit more, though. Technology is not always an automatic improvement.

2024夏個展ありがとうございました

8月17〜19日に福岡市博多区冷泉荘ギャラリーで行われたふたり展の活動記録になります

今回の夏の展示は音楽と絵という組み合わせで展示を試みて本当に自分が1番楽しくて可愛いいと思う形に仕上げられと思います。

家から出てきたレコードの表紙を自分のイラストで飾ってみたり、カセットテープのデザインを自分のイラストで作成してみたり、制��中もわくわくが止まりませんでした！

今回新規書下ろしの三枚になります。カセットテープ、ウォークマン、スマートフォン、と時代に乗せて変わりゆく音楽機器にはノスタルジックな気持ちにさせられます

また、まとめての掲載になってしまいますが、下記からは去年12月に姉と行った展示会「OLDandNEW」の当時のDMや展示写真になります。

こちらではアニメーションの見せ方について考え、その考え方を反映した展示方法になっています

アニメーションは連続した絵の繋がりでアニメになっている。でも連続した絵の繋がりでしかアニメを味わえないのはなんだか勿体無い気もしていて、もっと見たいなと感じた時に思いついた、連続した繋がり且つ一枚の絵としても楽しめるような新しいアニメーションの見せ方です。
