Right now all the loyal fans have to look forward to is 911s slow death.For anyone who has seen a show jump the shark before It's a tale as old as time. The show has lost all chance of ending on a high note so it will make even more choices for shock value as a feeble attempt to stay relevant and all we can do is watch the show slowly fades into obscurity. Untill it's eventually used as a cautionary tale.

Need a 911 fic where Buck hits his head and is disoriented and confused when he wakes up. He thinks him and Eddie are dating.

Not because he has an amnesia or anything, but because Ravi was the one helping jog his memory and nothing Ravi knows about the 118 is right.

So.......I'm....angry and devastated and I can't deal with this so I'm going to vent a bit....

Bobby, a suicidal character who is once more in a good place just killed himself so another character could live.

Athena lost her 3rd husband (idgaf if she wasn't yet married the 1st time they were going to be, it fucking counts) and 2/3 are permanently fucking dead and the other one is....idk somewhere fucking probably. They never even got to live in their new house, never got to start this new chapter of their life or whatever was next for them.

Chimney, if they want to be true to his character, will probably take years to get over his survivor's guilt if he ever does or they'll ooc him and have him have no problem in 2 eps. Bc fuck chimney right?

Buck just lost the only decent father figure he ever had after he and Athena did everything they could to save the 118, and in the end, while it matters bc everyone else is alive I doubt it's going to be in any way shape or form a comfort and it will not like nothing short of a personal failure.

Eddie is NOT HERE in this episode. They've kept dragging shit they started for so long and they didn't even have the decency to add one of the main characters reacting to THE FIRST MCD OF THE SHOW? AND IT WILL NEVER BE ADDRESSED BASED ON THE INTERVIEWS?! HE WILL JUST BE TOLD OFF SCREEN? ! AND WILL DEAL WITH IT OFF SCEEN?! THEY BARELY SHOWED EDDIE WORKING ON HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH CHRIS ON SCREEN WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU TIM?!

Hen hasn't had a peaceful moment to breathe in most if not all of S8. And with the way the bobby-buck send-off was written, I see mean black lesbian is trying to dei her way to captaincy over poor white cis straight presenting man in her future storylines.

Maddie will have to balance pregnancy, a child, work, and being there for her husband and brother, even separated from how the whole thing impacted her.

The 118 just lost someone they loved and cherished bc tm wanted there to be....stakes....right.....

And to make matters worse, the "reformed" racist was there...he was in that episode. We saw his reaction, whatever there was of it in any case. But a MAIN FUCKING CHARACTER ISN'T?!

And based on the bts, GERARD WILL ALSO BE IN 8x16?!

In what world is any of this what the audience wants? Just for the sake of fucking "stakes" and fucking "realism"....yeah okay.

i think the biggest issue with the writing of 911 is the the writers seem to believe viewers tune in for the action sequences or intense storylines, while people are actually invested in the found family of it all.

and they just killed off the father figure.

For all the BT fans saying that BuckTommy is the superior ship because it's canon. Maddie and Doug were also canon. A canon relationship doesn't mean it's a good relationship.

I need to be careful or my new found hatred for Tommy Kinard will role onto the actor...because what do you mean they kill a beloved main character and your celebrating your side character on Instagram....I'm trying to remind myself that it's probably a lack of PR training and not actually malicious but Dear Lord read the room!

Welp that aged poorly. Instead we got Aaron and Roberts brother getting engaged and dead Bobby.

So many people thought being misogynistic and nasty towards KR for firmly shutting down Buddie would secure them a win and it only came back to bite.

I'm sorry I'm confused by this. I never disliked KR I always knew it was TimMinear who controlled things but KR wrote lab rats. (Although nobody is blaming her for it there firmly blaming Tim Minear) Are you saying they killed off Bobby to spite the buddies fans?

We truly had so much faith in Tim Minear in the beginning of the season. Not to mention we were all so excited for the move to ABC last year. Now look at us.

Also fuck the idea that MCD is a brave writing move. You're an american show with a latino character. You want to make a brave writing choice? Address the deportation crisis in your own fucking country. Take a single political stand against fascism. Otherwise stfu about being brave. Be the comfort people seek in this time or take a fucking stand. Brave? Babe whattt. Where? You wanna be edgy then do it. I'm all for it. But have the dignity to do it with some backbone. Like if you want me to take you seriously I'll take you seriously. Let's get serious.

I truly believe that Tim Minear thought that the audience reaction to Bobbys death would be like how the audience is reacting to TLOU. (Although both were devastating) Which honestly was a gross misunderstanding of his audience.
