has a little sister called noa, and filed for adoption of her as soon as she turned eighteen. noa is nine years younger than her, and due to another family taking interest in her adoption it was a lengthy process but phoebe was granted legal guardianship of her

she wanted to understand what made a person snap, what made a serial killer. ended up studying criminal psychology and has a doctorate. with her unique insight, law enforcement has her interview incarcerated serial killers and she oftentimes works with the fbi as a consultant

does want to join the fbi on a permanent basis. definitely with the bau
