"Jestro did nothing wrong" this and "Jestro did all of that shit willingly" that, my stance is somewhere in the middle, in that yes, he did much of it willingly, and he was also being blatantly manipulated and in some cases mind-controlled, and while it's entirely fair for season 4 to end with him being punished for his crimes, I still wish it hadn't because he did deserve a proper redemption arc but the series got cut short before we could get that and I'm salty about it. I just want a happy ending for him is that too much to ask?

One of the ideas i had was that wizard!jestro would cast the nexo-scan from the top of the fortrex because he is So Scared. He's hiding.

Also there'd be setbacks at the beginning, the nexo-powers would prank the nexo knights since all the magic he'd been casting for the past whatever-number of years was all evil magic. Now he's trying to cast good magic and it's backfiring just a little bit.

Okay, I'm going to be honest, I owe this guy an apology. When I first started watching Nexo Knights, I thought he was going to be the stereotypical dumb guy who always wants food. I said he might be the one to bring the enjoyment of the show down, but I was completely wrong. I never thought he was going to be that self-aware. He amazed me nearly every time with each new episode, and I'm so glad he proved me wrong.

Axl's just a big softy. And I love him for that.

Bad Ending

Only one prompt again, sorry! But I LOCKED in for this, and went for the ‘ol’ reliable bad ending - Monstrox successfully possessing Clay at the end of S2. It was, I think, the first time younger me watched something and thought “What if…”, so it’s one of my first aus for, anything really.

I like this ending, even if I don’t have much to show for it, because I feel like it brings up, again, the relationships of the rest of the knights, Jestro and Merlok and how they’re affected. Also, Monstrox getting a human form, and the combined power of Clay’s untouched magic, and his own. It would be, a little awkward though if he brought Ruina back while possessing her son…

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed NexoWeek, even if I have been late to some of them! It’s been great seeing everyone’s art and writing, and it’s been fun to (actually) draw out stuff I really like about Nexo Knights! I’ll (hopefully) not be late with the final prompts, and thank you to @localcryptid3 !

Wanted to make a half good, half evil jestro traditional drawing (haven't touched proper traditional art in forever) but botched it and then thought the idea would work for this meme lol so used the chibi Paint3D models I made. Bonus points if you recognize the scene that the background is from.

Couldn't decide which version I liked one so have both + blank version.

Trying to figure out how to draw the knights hair and armour (or at least the top half of their armour), + figuring out colour palettes, but I did not fully realize how intricate the armour designs are! They have so many small details and patterns. Which makes a lot more sense as 3d designs/models but it makes them a pain to draw in 2d.

Drawing intricate armour designs is being a bit of thing because my body also has decided today is a good day for a full body joint pain flare up as well as decided it was a good day to start off with super low spoons! Yay! /sarcasm
