The Batter simply observed his surroundings for a moment. It was a stark contrast to the Zones' ornamented minimalism; wood elements were not exactly common. The Add-Ons hovered around him, casting odd shadows with their light - or did it come from the Batter? It was a bit hard to tell.
He stood, somewhat ill at ease. Unwilling to be seated even though he could feel the strings drag at him towards the nearest chair.
It seemed that even in places of safety and a fateline severed it was hard for the Batter to even take a break, but Tanree wouldn't know this.
"Correct. There are multiple of them. The one I know…"
He eventually relented and sat down heavily on the hard floor, pointedly ignoring the chair.
"The one I was tied with has…"
Has what?
"I… am unsure of his status."
Oh. Yeah. That had never been really answered.
"Another one makes the rounds. He seems to have a distaste for my presence."
[ He didn't really blame The Batter for being on the defense once they teleported. The two of them only just met after all, so a laid out trap was most likely not out of the question. Tanree would've reacted similarly. ]
[ He supposed he has his guard down this time around because he has an out, and weapon on hand if that out wasn't an option. He's.. safer then he would've been. ]
[ The cabin was a bit dark, and it was certainly lived in. On the shelves and table had various knickknacks, one example being a plush of a pig that sits on a table in the middle of what can be assumed to be a living room. ]
[ Tanree went over to the fireplace across the room to light the fireplace with a lighter, some twigs, and a bit of paper. As the fire was kindling, he went to get the logs fed in slowly. ]
s✦.. [ He breaks the brief silence between them, feeding a log into the now roaring fire. ] y✦u're fr✦m th✦se z✦nes, right? d✦ y✦u kn✦w ✦f zacharie?

The teleportation is sudden, and in a flash, the Batter's armed, ready in case the grey spectre-like creature has sprung a trap. But the bitter cold of the tundra hit, and he was disoriented - if only briefly.
With a simple nod in Tanree's direction, the Add-Ons flew towards the open cabin door. As Omega passed him, it slowed, and the Batter grabbed onto the Add-On and let himself be deposited in the warmth of the cabin.
It is very warm in there and it seems lived-in to some extent. He had no idea how Zacharie used to live, but off-handed comments here and there, from the merchant and the Guardians and his son, had given him the impression that this was not where Zacharie used to live. If only because it wasn't as much of a mess.
"I do not have complaints about anything cold." said the Batter. "It rained in Zone One." He unhelpfully chose to not elaborate any further.
...it was very awkward, so in lieu of standing around in silence, the Batter decided to hover a bit more closer to where Tanree was fiddling around with his device.
"What does this do?"
For an entity professing to be less-emotionally developed than a rock he sure displayed quite a lot of curiosity.

the judge? ..hm, i'll keep th✦se tw✦ in mind.
[ Not that Tanree would completely avoid them, if he happened upon them he'd try to be polite if they were, but.. well, that's another thing for another time. ]
[ He takes out his notes from his inventory to take a look at the coords he saved. There was an empty beach, his job, abandoned snow cabin, and.. quite frankly there is a lot here. Batter said himself that he wasn't particular, so he's gonna pick one himself. ]
i'm sure we can at least try. i have this ✦ne sp✦t that's uh.. a bit c✦ld. [ He pauses. ] but i can start the fireplace.

The Batter rubs his nose, trying to clear it. It does not work, in fact, it makes him experience a minor sneeze. He gives up, sniffing. The Puppeteer unhelpfully directs him to use a handkerchief instead. He looks at them silently, and then turns back to Tanree.
"You would not like the Judge, or his brother." The Batter says. He shakes his head. "They are cats. The Judge prefers to twirl around legs. It can get too much."
The Batter surveys the environment. It is aesthetically confusing for an entity of his nature, especially one ordered on the lines and shapes of the Zones. The Queen and the Guardians had no illusions regarding geometry, preferring complicated patterns.
"I have nowhere particular in mind. I am unsure how much freedom I have to wander, however." He adds, "I have not tested my recent boundaries to this extent."
The puppeteer typing all this behind the screen blinks, raises his hands and is about to type a response to Tanree, blinks again, reads back what was written, and screams at his illiteracy
"....No. You simply have the art of perception." says the Batter, stiffly standing, struggling against the sneezing. The flickering between his more monstrous/human/monstrous/human forms seems a bit more violent, yet he is still emotionless. "As for purification, it is and was a noble mission. But-but, the methods involved were far too - ah-mean-aaaah "
ah-AH-CHOOOOOOOOOOO
"That was very unpleasant." he says, five minutes later. The AddOns had flared up in response, preparing to attack but a raised hand puts them at ease.
He does not like the feeling of sneezing. It is far too violent, and far too much of an odd human behaviour. Regardless of how much independence he himself has obtained, the Batter is not truly human, despite his best efforts to learn.
The sneeze echoes throughout the grove of cherries. There might be something that gets attracted (or, more likely, repulsed) by the explosion. Nevertheless the Batter is well-acquainted with such trouble.

[ Tanree squints a bit at The Batter. Not that he's trying to be rude any further, he's just.. trying to understand what he's looking at. It's certainly rather odd, maybe he could ask about that. ]
called int✦ questi✦n eh? .. uh, makes sense i guess. a missi✦n where y✦u "purify" s✦unds a bit.. uh, questi✦nable, t✦ say the least.
[ He watches as the man starts to make a face. Is.. he allergic to the petals? Well, the troll knows how he feels at least. He's allergic to cats, though he doesn't stay away from those cute critters for long anyways. ]
[ He laughs a bit, leaning on one of the cherry trees. ] sure sure, fair en✦ugh. i've been having weird things happening with my transp✦rter lately, s✦ can't say i'm n✦t in the same b✦at.
[ The troll pauses for a moment. Zacharie.. that's a name he's familiar with. He must be from the same type of universe, then. ]
.. puppeteer y✦u say? is that the ✦ne i'm seeing with y✦u?

He is silent for a moment. Meanwhile the plants shed their leaves. Should Tanree have been watching, he'd notice that there's a bit of a flickering around the Batter, as if there were two entities occupying the same space.
"It is a mission that I am supposed to fulfill." he finally said. "But it has been brought into question." At this point quite a few petals had landed on his cap, so he brushes them off his head. He is not annoyed by this, but he does feel something tickling the back of his nose.
He does not like this sensation. He thinks it is sneezing, but he is not familiar with it.
"I do not have a wandering problem. The Puppeteer and I somehow find ourselves in places." he states simply. "You have more idea about how to get around in places like this, other than Zacharie."
[ Tanree blinks, looking down at himself for a moment. He's not sure if he should be insulted for being called a spectre or not, honestly. Aren't those ghosts? ]
[ He looks back up at this Batter, noting the strange circles behind him. ]
agent ✦f purificati✦n? n✦ clue what the hell that is, but y✦u d✦ y✦u... and n✦t sure h✦w i resemble these... "spectres" y✦u speak ✦f. but. whatever. sure. fine.
[ He leans on the cherry blossom tree that he's under and rolls his eyes. Currently, these two reside at a cherry grove, alone, as far as this troll is aware. ]
i used my transp✦rt device. hell if i kn✦w h✦w y✦u g✦t here. [ He pauses for a second. ] d✦ y✦u just have a wandering pr✦blem ✦r s✦mething?

The Batter amends his initial thought. It is very definitely a creature and it is very rude.
"I am the Batter. I am a holy agent of purification."
"You resemble a spectre, yet you are sentient and only violent in speech."
The Batter has no idea that he is also very rude. Rudeness is about to abound in this conversation.
Behind him, the Add-Ons link up in their Venn diagram-like positions.
"How did we come to be in this place."
[ Tanree at first was turned away, fiddling with his transport device, when he heard another voice. Once he turns around to look at another new stranger, his face was... ]
[ Yeah. That. ]
✦k. first ✦f all, rude? .. sec✦nd ✦f all, i'm an alternian. n✦w what the fuck are Y★U?
