some life updates! this might get long so i'm stickin it under a cut.

that being said! i've also gotten a bunch of new followers that i just haven't had the time to go through lately, but i'll be doing that shortly. right now, even.

by no means is this account inactive!

my mental health has taken a few huge hits over a handful of weeks and i've been tossing and turning on a lot of major life decisions, hence consistent fatigue. i've literally been unable to work up the desire to be online in general, which is strange, because this is undoubtedly my home.

moving on.

i got some really bad news yesterday that i haven't exactly swallowed.

my family's taking another huge hit and i've been just. drained of all my energy thinking about it.

my older brother and his wife are separating and it's not looking good.

we have no idea what's going to happen in terms of custody of their children -- my four year old nephew and the baby on the way (due in less than a month).  i don't know how often i'm going to be able to see these kids after the fact. i don't really know any details. it's very scary and happening so suddenly and i've barely had the mind to process it.

i'm really sort of shaken with this whole ordeal. this is all happening within about three weeks of my dad getting remarried, which in itself made me way more emotional than i expected to be -- he and i have never really been on great terms to begin with, but seeing his brand new family coming together as what's left of mine over here with my mom has been the source of many untamed beatings was just. i don't know. a big wad of spit in the face.

i want to get away from everyone and move out on my own as soon as i can but this job is tiring me out more than anything. the pay almost isn't worth the strain. constant rock vs hard place thing going on.

it's been a really hard couple of months to top off these shitty two years or so.

talking with you guys and being around here in general had worked to an extent in keeping me sane and i would like to thank you for being so patient. i've met a lot of great people and i hope to kick whatever is going on in my head as soon as i can to continue writing with you. uhhm. alrighty! this has gotten long and preachy enough. i know nobody really like. reads these things or really cares? but. figured i owed you something better than "haven't been feeling too hot".  so... yeah. i haven't been feeling too hot.
