don’t know who else needs to hear this (it’s me honestly) but maybe it can help be a good gentle reminder to anyone who may need it:

the people that care about you in your life won’t be angry at you or annoyed with you for having bad days, or for being sad or for struggling with things 💕 you are a not a burden and you haven’t taken a step back or undone any progress you made when difficult feelings or times roll around again

you have not ruined anything, you have not dampened the mood, you have not driven anyone away, you have not done anything wrong. people still love you even when you’re sad, people still think you are important and wonderful. your sadness is not all that you are i promise

the people who love you will not leave you, they still care, they still want you in their lives, they still think you’re special because you are and inherently always have been and this won’t change for them even on the worst days, even when you don’t believe it or can’t see it, you are still loveable and worthy 💕

I saw you love red, white, and royal blue and I've just gotta ask you: have you heard of Burn the House Down by Kenna Jenkins? It's an alternate history novel abt the 1st woman president and her secret sapphic relationship/bearded marriage with her mlm best friend. It also includes a subplot about arson at the White House, ft. An entirely queer main cast and really fleshed out characters, and has a really satisfying ending!

Here is a quick reminder of the rules:

Since Tumblr has modified some posts settings, we will only be accepting submissions (link will become accessible when submissions open), to ensure everything is properly formatted.

Please remember that only one fanfic or fanart per person is allowed (you can submit both a fic and a fanart if you'd like, but not two of each). If you submit more than one, we will only accept the first of the entries you submit.

Rules for Fics:

500 word minimum.

Must be titled (simple is fine).

Include rating if fic has mature or explicit content.

Include trigger warnings such as: non-con, child abuse, major character death and underage.

Include a brief summary of your fan fiction.

Friendly reminder to spell-check and edit appropriately. We'd like to be your beta, but frankly, we're busy.

Select all the tags supplied.

Note: A “Read More” will be added after the summary. If you would like to add artwork to your fic, please do so when you reblog the post. Any banners included with the submission will be placed after the Read More.

Rules for Fanart:

To submit fan art, click on "Text" in order to access the drop-down menu options for Photo or Video.

A title is optional, but please, tag your username in the caption section.
